| Comments: | Dear Julie, I want to thank you so very much for all the info that you have shared on your website. I have done childcare off and on in my home on a part-time basis only and also worked for a woman who had a child care center. I just moved back home to Hawaii and am at the present time a full time caregiver for a woman who is 105 years old. I fell into this because I cared for my father before he passed away and after going back to Oregon, doors just opened for me in this area. When my house sold last year and God called me back to Hawaii I sent over to Hawaii what child care equipment I had because I couldn't let it go and I had the thought that perhaps I would do it again. I have always wanted to do childcare on my own and on a full time basis, but fear held me back. Well, God has given me a vision and a purpose and I am working on opening my own child care business and also a senior care business. I am to care for two seniors and children as well. Here in Hawaii, with our culture as it is, it is a wonderful blend. I am still caring for the woman 24/6 with 12 hours off a week, until she passes on. I am beginning to get things in order in many areas of my life that I have let go by the wayside for many reasons that I won't go into. I want to so thank you for all the information that you share on your website. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You have been an immense help and an encouragement to me. Hallelu-jah!!!! | Comments: | I was actually looking at a friends website and am trying to figure out how to set one up for myself without adding any liability to myself or my children. I like your site and the fact that many of your forms are available online as well as your policies. That would save a lot of printing on my part. I also like that you have your calendar online. I would like to do something like that where parents can log-in with a password so strangers don't know what our schedule is-we do a lot of field trips. And I would like to upload pictures of the children for parents to view. You have some great idea's I teach a workshop on policies - so mine is crazy long- that and the fact that I have been doing this for over 16yrs- yikes! Anyway thanks for the information. Tambra |
