The State of Maryland requires so many hours of training for every child care provider/year. I was one of the trainers (Spanish and English)and I would like to continue doing it since I enjoyed sharing with providers ideas and experiences. Do you have similar requirements for child care providers and preschool teachers??

Noticed this site and hope someone can help! I am working with Kay Jackson, President of the International Family Day Care Organisation to organize a study tour for providers coming from other countries to attend the next nafcc conference in Orlando next year. NAFCC gave me an email address, but it wouldn't go through either. We would like to arrange a study tour that would begin in NY, then go to Wash. DC, Atlanta and ending in Orlando. We are looking for someone to help us find some provider homes and other provider resources to visit in the NYC area. I just got back from the NAFCC conference in Kansas City, MO and you all were on my mind. I really want to get to FCCANYS conference this year. I'm checking on transportation immediately following this note. The NAFCC conference was great! Almost as good as Buffalo! (smile) I have alot to share and am working out a schedule to meet face-to-face with providers in various parts of NYS. I was in Rochester this past July and had a blast working and sharing with providers there. As some of you may know, I am the current NAFCC Region II Representative (NY/NJ). August 1 completes on year for me. It took me that long to get the scope of my responsibilities so I'm siked to finally get down to business. I need to hear from you too. I'll keep tabs on this great website, but hopefully you'll call me up or email me. Enjoy the rest of the summer. FCC providers are the BEST! LOL |
