I have a grandson about to be 2 in December, and I could never imagine of him being hurt or taken away from me by murder or even by accident. My grandson Jonathyn is my life. So my prayers are with the family of lil miss Kyleigh. It angers me to know that her killer did not get life in prison or the death penalty. My name is Teri Evans I am setting up a website and am having memorials pages for children who have had there life taken away from them so, I was wondering whether you would be happy for me to do a page for your darling Kyleigh? We will also have a petition on there for changes in the Law to make child murderers and abuses automatically receive the death sentence or life without parole as a set sentence. kyleigh's b-day just recently passed. it's been so long since i've visited her page. i miss her so much..i feel her with me at times.. i was about 10 when kyleigh was murdered.. in two days i'll be 17.. she was like my little sister. going through a death so close to you is unbearable. now i wonder what she would look like. knowing she would be beautiful. if she would be tall for her age. how she would like school and what kind of friends she would have. sleep overs..if she would be a tomboy or if she would be a barbie maniac. i'm graduating in four months and it's hard to know that i'll never see her walk and recieve her diploma. looking up to the sky for her face is always an action i can't keep myself from taking. |

You say you don't know for sure if her killer is out on work release. Does Wyoming not have victim notification laws? I live in a state where the penitientiary is REQUIRED to notify the family when/if a convict is paroled or released. Sounds like Wyoming needs the same. My heart aches for you. The failure of our system to do justice in this case is deeply disturbing and it really pisses me off that this man will someday get to rejoin the social circle.
