wow your Nausicaä costume looks perfect!! it's my lifetime favorite film since childhood. (it's actually made in the same year as my birth.) it's so amazing to see the film has been so loved as to be used in cosplaying over the pacific. It amazes me that you ccan make such great costumes with such a low price. I adore you and ever thing you've made. It feels like your my best friend i've never meet. I really want to be your friend. you've inpired me to do my best on everything i try to do because you made lots of costume from things you had and bought, just to have a great costume to show. I think its so great and inspiring how you work hard to make these characters come to life in you. I adore you very much. I would love to become you friend. It amazes me how much better your costumes are compared to company made ones, but at the same time its not surprizing. I wish to create costumes that expess my feelings and creativeness like you have. my friends are amazed at you great costumes and wish they had them. I would do anything to wear your nausicaa costume for one night. Your my idol. Hi, I really like your page. It was so nice to find someone else who likes Mai-hime, Mai-Otome. I was very surprised, to see an Arika, let alone any character from the Mai series. It's too bad this year you were Arika, instead of Mai, then all we would need is a Mikoto! Although, you did a very good job on your Arika costume. I was really impressed with it. I'm a procrastinator as well. Procrastinators rejoice! I was painting my elements till 1 in the morning on Saturday and then I lost one of them after all that trouble. If you didn't notice, I only have one in the picture and I didn't know what to do with my other hand, so I sort of look silly and have red eyes ~.~; But nonetheless I'm very happy that I got to bump into you, it's a wonderful feeling when you bump into another fan. Since my cousin has not seen Mai hime or Mai Otome I was explaining to my her that I'm technically your headmaster from the past. You should have seen her expression. Sorry for my ongoing babbling. Anyways, once again it was very nice to meet you. |

Thanks for sharing your costumes with us. I was inspired to make my 4 yr old son's Inuyasha costume for Halloween after looking at your photos. His sister is going to be Kagome. I wonder if anyone will actually recognize what they're dressed as amongst all those Spider-men and princesses. I'd love to know how you managed to get a white wig. I looked high and low all over Vancouver (where I live) and no white wig. So, my little guy is going to be Inuyasha in human form. |

so let me say i absolutly adore you nausicaa cosplay costume... from the pictures it looks perfect... i am currently trying to do my first cosplay pieces for my wife and i and were doing Nausicaa and im going as Porco Rosso(2 of our favorite ghibli films) but your is by far the best nausicaa costume yet i may borrow some of your ideas... and i was wondering what pattern you used for the dress? but best of luck to you with future cosplays and such and if you by some bizarre chance come to ACEN(anime Central in may in chicago) look for the 6'3" Pig :) |

Bonnie, Hope you got my email about my daughter Zöe's wish to be Nausicaa this Halloween. What a talent you are! Your costumes inspire me to go downtown and check out this new sewer's cafe I've heard about. There's been a pottery cafe, kiln and all, that's done really well over the last ten years in Olympia Washington (our home town) but now someone's set up a cafe with a whole lot of sewing machines and stuff to do and people who know what they're doing. Any ideas on a way to create Nausicaa for Halloween, let us know. Steve |

Hey Bonnie... nice site ! I saw Princess Mononoke in the theatres, I used to work at a movie theatre and would catch all the movies that came through. That movie was awesome... I took my brother to see it, he's big into Anime as well. The Kodama's are pretty cool ... I liked San and Moro myself ... see ya later ! |

Oh, and about that St. Catherines Con you want to go to...I'd talk to Pan and Kevin about it because we were sorta talking about it in class the other day.
