And there's nobody to translate it for me, so... I am now on episode 10. Hopefully the rest of the manga will be animate soon. |

manga translations I could find, and even going so far as to look through German and Japanese sites (with a dictionary, of course ^_^) to look for glimpses into later happenings, I finally resorted to just waiting for new manga translations. The Fushigi Yuugi comments are really cute, and they add a touch of humor to the series, which is really rather depressing sometimes. The site also has the most Basara manga translations I could find, so I'll definitely stay tuned for more of these. ::drool:: |

I wanted to know Sarasa and Shuri's outcome, so I've searched for days to find the rest of the series. After reading the rest of the translations, the story never disappointed me. I was just sad that the anime series didnt create the rest of the series.

I've never been glad about being able to speak and read another language besides English until I realized that I can experience BASARA without having English translations for the manga. The rest of my friends who cannot read Japanese, Chinese, or Korean are desperately finding English translations for the manga but not having much luck. |

For those of you who haven't read and divulged into the entire history of Ageha, his sacrifice, his childhood, his love (he lost both Shido and Sarasa's devotion and love to shuri), and his final battle not to mention his hot looks and personality will not be able to understand us Ageha lovers! You find out more about him in the addendum stories in volume 26 and 27 and in between the later volumes in the tankoban. The most touching part was when he finally forgives and acts out in kindness for his all time nightmare and enemy, Shido's father. I won't give out more of the details but I was very touched by that scene. He is one of the most beautiful characters ever created- yumi tamura or tamura yumi did an awesome job. Although his character was mostly developed beforehand and that's why we don't see much of his character development or growth in the main plot of the manga (unlike Shuri and Sarasa who grow up and develop during the manga-both change so much!), his character is subtly enchanting and even the most complicated. Well anyways that was my bit for Ageha. Don't get me wrong Shuri is awesome to but I just wanted to share about Ageha's equally challenging charisma and subtle beauty. SIGH! |

| General comments: | Basara is exactly the type of mangas that satisfies anykind of taste for books. Its Romantique, Dramatique, Really Funny and of course action-filled. It is the best mangas I have seen yet. It is so good you get pissed of because of one character and then you feel sorry for the other one. It is well done too! Love the story, but I'm still kinda mixt up if Ageha loves Sarasa or not.... hummmm

SPOILERS UP AHEAD *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** Since Ageha left Sarasa to die on a mountain I hate him. Shuri on the other hand is far better. When they met on the battle field and recognize each other for who they are they didn't know what to do, but after wards so Sarasa became insensible and Shuri was made a slave by Asagi, but even then when Asagi he always knew that Sarasa was Tatara, Shuri said: Don't you dare lay a hand on her! so Shuri all the way!!!!!!! |

| How'd you hear about Basara?: | I got one of Viz's free books with trial chapters. Basara was not among the chapters, but there was an add for it, and my interest was piqued. |
| General comments: | Cool site, never knew there were any. There are scanlations on the net up untill volume 18 by the way, of the manga, in english- but viz are up to nr 19, so there is little to gain there. They stopped when the series was lisensed, as they usually do.
But Basara is great. I hope the series ends well - I hate it when the authors insists on being "realistisc" and kills off the people we've been following, literally, for years. :) |

They've done up to chapter 77, which is the end of volume 20. at stoptazmo.com you can download the chapters 1-77. This site should also update their links page. |
