Comments:For 28 years I have made special gages and calibrated them for the automotive other industries. I would send out 2000 Gregorian calendars a year to my clients internationally. It always bothered me that the Gegorian cram-down was 6% short in February. In 1995 I corrected this. My efforts and distribution pales to your design and acceptance. I expect to be promoting TWC and see it as real now and incorporated into world-wide use by 2012-1-1.

Comments:I ask why all the quarters need to be identical. The first and third can stay the same. The Second Quarter could be revised to make May the 31 day, month, the poem 30 Days have november, etc., April could still be a 30 day month. Also in the fourth quarter October and November can be 30 days months, so that the December last week would be 7 days from Christmas 25 to 31, with the additional World day. it makes more sense to me. OJL+ (((TWCA response: The World Calendar with changes is no longer The World Calendar.)))

Comments:I think, either with global warming or our calendars have gotten out of cynic with the world axle's and season's since the 1500's when changes were made to the calendar. It's time to have a good look at it again.I think we are out by day's if not weeks over the years.Every year spring is arriving later and later.Farming communities believe up to two or three weeks late with all our season's.

Comments:I am one the proponent for the reform of the present Gregorian calendar. A calendar for the whole world (for all humans of all nations and faith directions). I employ me also with chronology and on my homepage the most diverse calendar systems (also the world calendar) explained. For some days "calendar reform suggestion" is on the homepage in the forum the project. In this project the most diverse suggestions are to be discussed. The idea is to be developed it from all discussion contributions sometime once a new calendar reform suggestion and/or to be improved an existing suggestion. I am convinced of which more fueher or later a new calendar for the whole world is introduced.

Comments:A great idea who's time has not yet come. Some years ago, before I discovered the World Calendar, I devised similar variation. The major difference is that the first day of the week is Monday, putting the weekend at the end of the week. Many businesses arrange their fiscal calendars this way - seems more likely to gain acceptance. Also, no Fridays the 13th!
