I had to let my darling boy Jake (Dobyx) go last August i had him for 13 years he had cancer, it felt like someone had ripped my heart from my chest but to ease the pain a little a had a beautiful girl to help me Fifi my darling pei. She knew when i were feeling sad and would come and jump up onto the sofa and push her face into my arm, just her way of letting me know she was there. | Comments: | having read such critics on this shapei site, i ordered some blue ear cleaner for a serious ear problem with my cocker spaniel. and it really is a miracle as her problem healed after treatment. now use it regulary to keep problems at bay in all my dogs including my basset hound and now am about to try the sulphur remedy on her yeast skin condition.
as this site is highly recommend by me and from my own personal experiences. |

| Comments: | I have a sharpei who looks nothing like the ones I have seen. She is light tan,dark tan and black. She is tall, has a semi straight tail,tiny ears and not many wrinkles. She had the wrinkles when she was a puppy but their almost gone with the exception of tons of extra skin behind her neck. She runs like a greyhound, jumps like a rabbit,chases squirrels and chickmunks. She is very picky about the people she gets close to and barks at everyone who walks by her house. I love her and would not trade her for anything. She is lots of works but she is also lots of fun to watch. |

| Comments: | i had a shar pei called rolo he was a very very hansome dog ,fawn colour we had his eyes and ears done because he suffered with them,he was allways a nervous dog from pup to when he passed away in dec 2002 icould not have wished for a nicer dog he stropped like the best of them i always talked to him walkin down the street to make him feel better ihave never loved a dog so much in my life and of course the breed i will never let him go in my heart and i think my kids think im mad but so what i am lookin for another shar pei even though my kids think i will expect it to be like rolo but i know for a fact no other could ever be he was one in a million and sadly now his gone but as isay i love the breed and one day i shall get another im sorry to have gone on a bit but bye the way i think your dogs are absolutely gorgeousits been a very nice pleasure to be able to see them thank you very much and all the best for you and your dogs bye |

Showing days are over now married life is here, however he is still looking good as ever. 3 years now since we lost Floyd, would love to have another Pei but I think Luther would grudge sharing a sofa and the spare room, spoilt little so and so that he is. | Comments: | Hi, we have got a 22month old bitch Sharpei and we are at our wits end she is slowly destroying our home, she is not left on her own for long periods but does things like chewing off wallpaper(3times in one place) and has destroyed 2 fence panels and has now started to gnaw the back door and frame. What can we do to stop this short of puting her in a cage 24hrs. which we dont want to do as she is a lovely dog otherwise, but we cant afford to keep renewing our house.
