It may be just me, but I think that you should finish it with at least one more chapter and maybe (okay especially) end it on an upbeat/happy note. Thank you for taking the time to write your stories, post them, and to read this.

Comments:Dear T'Thrill,

This story is really that what I wanted.
I enjoyed so much.

The most excellent part for me is this.

Kirk said, "I have the vibrator set to the lowest setting. Adjust it to whatever speed gives you the most pleasure".

Spock's response to it.
"He began to feel a small amount of vibration inside of him and knew that Spock had adjusted the speed of the vibrator to a much higher setting. "

I was attracted by your wonderful story.
I am a Japanese.
I love Star Trek deeply.
Especially I am absorbed in the original series.
I write some fan fictions. (in Japanese)
Certainly, it is a slash and is the story of love of Kirk and Spock.

I would like to request permission to translate your stories into Japanese.
Can I possible that?

You would find about me at my web site, if you like; http://otona-only.com/NCC-1701/
(It is written in Japanese.)

I have not got money by these.
It is made by deep love and pure pleasure.

If there are any conditions I must meet before you grant permission, please let me know.

I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you.

Respectfully yours,
hogebon

From:Hassan Mohammed
Email: hashammed@netscape.net

Dear Sir/Ma,
As you read this, I don't want you to feel sorry for
me, because, I believe everyone will die someday.
My name is Hassan Mohammed a merchant in Dubai, in
the U.A.E.I have been diagnosed with Esophageal cancer
..
It has defiled all forms of medical treatment, and
right now I have only about a few months to live,
according to medical experts.
I have not particularly lived my life so well, as I
never really cared for anyone(not even myself)but my
business. Though I am very rich, I was never generous,
I was always hostile to people and only focused on my
business as that was the only thing I cared for. But
now I regret all this as I now know that there is more
to life than just wanting to have
or make all the money in the world.
I believe when God gives me a second chance to come to
this world I would live my life a different way from
how I have lived it. Now that God has called me, I
have willed and given most of my property and assets
to my immediate and extended family members as well as
a few close friends.
I want God to be merciful to me and accept my soul so,
I have decided to give also to charity
organizations, as I want this to be one of the last
good deeds I do on earth. So far, I have distributed
money to some charity organizations in the U.A.E,
Algeria and Malaysia. Now that my health has
deteriorated so badly, I cannot do this myself
anymore.
I once asked members of my family to close
one of my accounts and distribute the money which I
have there to charity organization in Bulgaria and
Pakistan, they refused and kept the money to
themselves. Hence, I do not trust them anymore, as
they seem not to be contended with what I have left
for them.
The last of my money which no one knows of is the huge
cash deposit of eighteen million dollars
$18,000,000,00 that I have with a finance/Security
Company abroad. I will want you to help me collect
this deposit and dispatched it to charity
organizations.
Please endeavour to reply me on my direct email
address of
hashammed@netscape.net for confidentiality.
I have set aside 10% for you and for your time.
God be with you.

Hassan Mohammed.

i was wondering -- could i rec "illogic" at my new fic recs site?

just so you know how much i love this story, here's the review/summary thingie i'd put on the site for it:

"this fic is really a tribute to the kindness and cussedness of leonard h. mccoy. it's also one of the only fics that convinces me spock doesn't really want the pants off kirk but off his old sparring partner, the dear doctor. 'don't give me those baby blue eyes,' indeed.

the dialogue is pitch-perfect -- funny and sweet, and you can really see mccoy's familiar mannerisms through spock's eyes.

not to mention the best last line ever."

thanks,
dylan

Comments:Dear Olivia Monteith,

I am writing to let you know how much I enjoyed “The First Time.” I found it to be a poignant, multi-layered story that not only took excellent advantage of the main characters’ personalities and histories, but also effectively captured all of the overwhelming emotions and physical sensations of the ‘first time.’

It was a pleasure to read your version of the obtuse yet loving Doctor and the vulnerable yet proud Cardassian, and I enjoyed both the gentle humour and intense emotions of the piece (the scene near the end where Garak was apologizing to Julian was absolutely heart-wrenching). “The First Time” especially impressed me as I have always visualized Garak as the dominant and more knowledgeable partner in that twosome (in more ways than one), but I found your virginal Garak to be wholly believable and utterly compelling.

I have been trying to track down your other stories, but on some sites the links are dead, or as on the Cardassia Sutra site not all of them had been formatted. If there is a centralized archive of your G/B and other stories I would be grateful if you could let me know of it, for I would definitely like to read more of your work.

While I’m asking questions (sorry, I hope I’m not being pushy) I noticed on the Cardassia Sutra site that you had posted the following challenge to “Choose a piece of music that inspires you, and write a story from it” and your own response “The Waltz” (which was lovely). The G/B Fuh-q-fest, now moderated by Mark Russel Stanley, is currently adding to its list of challenges, and I was wondering if you would mind if your challenge was added (either under your name or anonymously if you would prefer). There’s a Brahms sonata that reminds me of our not so plain and simple tailor and doctor . . . sigh. But I’ll understand if you’d rather not have your challenge submitted to the fest.

Once again, I loved “The First Time,” it was a moving, engaging and eminently sexy story. Take care,

Elizabeth Helena

"As attractive as I think you are, I really can't wear a naked Cardassian to work. What would the patients say?" he teased.
Garak stretched sleepily and murmured, "They would say that it was a vast improvement over that dreadful uniform, and they might even find it a very daring fashion statement."

read in some time. It has been so long ago that I don't
remember when I first began thinking of these three men as
being a triad, three who are one. I have read many stories
in which Jim and Spock are lovers and even a few where
Bones is lover to one or the other. This is the first that
I have found where the three are together as they should
be. I am completely happy with the outcome. Thank you for
putting into words what I have always felt. Jim is Spocks
passion and Bones is his anchor. Gods, that is exactly what
they are. Again thank you for this beautiful story.
