It has been 3 years this week that our daughter died suddenly of a brain tumor that we were aware of for only 3 days. I learned firsthand of the scripture that speaks of Jesus when it says, "For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given." Half of me grieves for my child, the baby that I nursed and held in my arms. The other half is incredibly proud of this little girl who "from a child knew the Scriptures that were able to make her wise unto salvation." Praise God that she did not keep her faith to herself, but shared it openly with others, and by her passing made a deposit in Heaven that makes us all long for our eternal home even more. Praise the Lord!! That one thought comforts me over and over again. Without personally having met neither you nor Katelynn, I can still be sure that among all that you miss about her, you miss most her kindness, compassion and love. There is something so special about these children. . . We pray our Lord will abundantly bless you with His comfort and peace. We know your pain and we thank God we are able to share not only your grief but also His faithful and precious promise of Heaven.
