The Name of Your Site?:	http://What a nice site. If any other animal lovers attend this pleasant site, bear these thoughts in mind. I have come across various stray animals in my travels. No doubt you have too!! Always attend to their needs. If you are busy MAKE the time. EXAMPLE: We once had a beautiful cat in our neighborhood who was obviously a stray, everyone fed it and petted her but nobody would take her in, she could have been run over on our very busy street!! My mate is allergic to cats but I finally took some initiative and brought her to the veterinarian, got her a voucher to get her fixed from the local SPCA, it turned out she was already spayed. She had mites and fleas which we treated her for. Lovely animal, very contented and loving, I put an add in the paper to see who lost such a caring animal!! Nobody responded. I took her from her temporary home at a friend's and brought her to her new home out in the country with another cat and nice family.Much better than being flattened by car. I was only able to do this by opening my mouth repeatedly to anyone who would listen, finally found someone willing and able to have her. You have a mouth, god gave you, use it, use your resources to help whatever pet you can!! The no kill shelters here are overfilled, it is sometimes up to each of us to make decisions to save a pet, don't assume someone else will do it!! I would only hope that another human being would do that for you or I if the situation warranted (of course except for the spaying part hahaha) No it was not cheap and I am not rich, but I feel we are richer in spirit if we extend ourselves in this way. That cat has no idea of money! Only love. More important. One cat we helped needed to be put to sleep, but you will face this trajedy sometimes too, don't avoid helping just because it is unpleasant at times. Every day, look around you. I have let several dogs off the street into my car and took them home. I don't recommend this but atleast call a local shelter if you see a stray. Make sure your animals have up to date tags!! Something so simple and important. Really it is a no brainer!! Your animal can't talk, it is up to us to talk for them. We domesticated them it is our responsibility. You don't have to join an organization or jump on a bandwagon to just help. Be like nike just do it. I got my pet from the newspaper, an add for an exotic animal someone was getting rid of not many people know how to care for properly. Don't buy such pets from the petstores,only reputable breeders, it only encourages poorly cared for animals for profit. You will pay more money but it is worth it. Also make the lives of other pet owners easier, I personally offer to pet sit whenever possible! Pets give us all so much, give back to them. They deserve it more than some people I know! Loyalty. Of course if you are in this website, you probably know all of this. Keep up the good work.
