is. We are now 7 weeks past the loss of our second child, Benjamin. He died suddenly due to a blood clot. He had a rough start to life with a heart defect called HLHS, but after three open heart surgeries his first six months of life, he did spectacular. He died 4/26/00 at the age of 25 months. We lost our first son, Matthew, to SIDS when he was 2 1/2 months old on 4/28/94. They are now together in God's heavenly garden. God bless our children...until we meet again! |

My son Corey died at 10 1/2 months old from an arrythmia on October 21, 1998. He was born with a heart defect and had a total of two surgeries. He had no complications whatsoever and so his death was just so sudden. Our sons were close to the same age when they died and I know how much it hurts. Your mommy told the story of your sickness and your mommy told what a brave little boy you were but she couldn't write everything about you that was so very wonderful. Your sweet, sweet smiles and the cute way you laughed...and how unbelievable it is that you could laugh when you must've been hurting. The Lord was good by taking you to Heaven to get you away from that hurt but Gabriel even though I know you are safe now I still miss you more than I can say. I love you so much. |
