| Comments: | I found this very helpful! I bought a Ray and he is on my 75 gallon tank but he is only in there while I cycle my 210 gallon as soon as it's cycle I well be putting him in there! What will be the best why to catch and transfer him?? His tankmates are a arowana, peacock bass, 2 Jack dempsey's, parrot fish, and a tinfoil barb. But when I make the move the last 3 may not come in the new tank. Well thank you in advance |

| Comments: | HELP! I purchased a Female ATlantic ray from some guy in Florida who said she was freshwater. Your website is awesome! and I did not need to look anywhere but here!
I now have a problem. My little ray is eating plenty, but her right side looks like its starting to curl. not the back, just the right side. Temp is at 78 degrees, no discoloration of the disk. I've only had her for 2 weeks and change the water plenty. She is also swimming in tight circles a lot at the bottom. She isnt coming to the top as often as the days before. A guy told me to convert my tank to salt water slowly, is this your recommendation? Im worried. Thank you so much for your response. |

| Comments: | Hello, very good web page. These fish are very intelligent and beautiful.
I can find no information about metronidazol use on potamotrygon. Have you any experiences about this? Because I breed two potamotrygon motoro orange with american cichlids and just these cichlids have a hexamita disease. I don´t want potamotrygons put to another fish tank. I would like to treat all fish in this aquarim. Everywhere I can read taht all drugs are toxic for potamotrygon. When I ask somebody to tried it, everybody says NO, despite of it everybody says it is dangerous. Would you be so kind and replied me? Sorry for my english. Thanks you. Tomas Slovakia |

| Comments: | Sorry, forgot to say great site.
Also I would recommend the Black Ghost Knifefish (Apteronotus Albifrons) as an excellent tankmate for F.W.Stingrays. Mine competes equally and enjoys the same foods as my Ray. They also come from the same geographical area and enjoy the same water conditions. Don't forget to provide a refuge for the B.G.K. as they like to hide during the day. Some hollow bogwood or similar. I also keep a Severum and a Flag Tail Characin (Semaprochilodus Taeniurus) with The Ray. But you need a BIG tank !!! |
