Many thanks,

Ian, I can't tell you how much I've been enjoying the CDs I bought from you the last time you played at Stonehaven Folk Club. I hope you're keeping well and still on the road. Is there anywhere I can see your tour information?
It's great to see your lyrics appearing back on your site as I'm a bitty corned beef and sometimes struggle to pick everything up.
I look forward to seeing you in the near future.

Best regards,
Billy

I seem to recall another web site but can not seem to locate it .
are you still performing and if so could you let me have info re gigs?
I was visiting Scotland earlier this month, first visit for years . discovered Motherwell and began to get a feel for the place. " Millions on my mind" was running through my head while I was up there . Was stayng in Wishaw and bussed it into Glasgow a couple of times. Thought I might have heard more about you but seemed it was a case of "a prophet in his own land" ....Still it was only a short stay, maybe didn't ask the right folk .

I have just signed the petition entitled Pete Seeger Nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize and thought you would be interested in adding your support. To read about the petition and to sign it just visit http://www.petitionthem.com/default.asp?sect=detail&pet=3774 There is also a forum where you can talk about this petition and of course many other worthy petitions that need your support. Overview of this petition: - Pete Seeger has been an ambassador for Peace and Social Justice over the course of his 87 year lifetime. As a prominent musician his songs, messages and performance style have worked to engage other people, particularly the youth, in causes to end the Vietnam war, ban nuclear weapons, work for international solidarity, and ecological responsibility. It is time that a cultural worker receives the recognition that this work has great influence and global reach, that it is not only a medium of entertainment but of education, compassion and action.

I had not heard you're songs until mid January this year when fellow peace activist gave me a cd (RightOn )
I danced around to Mandela Danced ...just the reminder I needed that there are bright spots on the journey . My son gave me a christmas gift -an Mp3 playerand a young lad at the community centre helped me put your songs on it . I am part of the studio musicians group , one of the oldest and the only one currently wanting to sing folk / protest songs.Pretty hesitant ,only used to choirs but am astounded by sense of freedom solo singing brings.I used to scribble quite a bit and am now looking around for keyboard to pick out a few notes to marry with a few words.Meanwhile yours and my MP3 wil stand me in good stead on the 15th for the march
Peace and all Good
