Hi Kelly, we saw your wyld women show as well as the gospel show at the Bridgetown Blues Festival last week end. We are still raving about it and telling all our friends how amazing it was!
As the newsletter editor for the West Coast Blues Club, Rockingham, Perth and also committee members of the club we are writing to the Bridgetown Committee and asking for return visit next year and sincerely hope you can make it! (hope you don't mind!) Thank you so much for signing our CD Saturday (we managed to get the EP sunday but your others had all sold out :o( ) You and your band were truly highlights of our weekend so thank you so much for making our first visit to Blues in Bridgetown so memorable! (We have a house in Bridgetown and move there permanately in January so it definately won't be our last!) Hi Kelly, boy you sure belt out a song..bloody superb.Been listening to your albums on my ipod,have around 3600 songs etc. on it. One of its best features is shuttle, can really get a cross section of voices and their quality etc. I have many female singers on it and boy oh boy do you shine through. Rich, solid, beautiful diction (think that's right),in a word, glorious. Thankyou for the pleasure.. Music is a great companion . I was fortunate enough to see you at the GV Festival and I was so moved by your inspirational Gorgeous Voice! So much so, I was drawn to Googling. Now I'm here and after reading your profile, I am compelled to write to you. Had I have known that you are an Ord River girl - I might have introduced myself at the Festival, as I lived in Kununurra for 7 years! A most amazing place. It was in Knx that I started singing and I will keep my eyes open for your next trip to Bendigo, so as I might be able to meet and chat! I was warmed by your work with the Bendigo youth as I am studying Social Work with my interest in working with youth/underprivileged through music... I'd love to hear your story!
