| Comments: | hi Caz, loved the movie, have a copy, the soundtrack and a poster, as well as the book. So it really captured my imagination in a way I had never expected. Everything about it came together to make it one of my top five favs, if not the very best, the story was incredible, the costuming, great, the acting, especially Joseph (who really deserved more recognition for his performance than he received) was fantastic. I also loved the music. In my opinion, though I know Saving Private Ryan is a critic's favorite as well, the Academy picked the right film for best movie that year, hands down. Thanks for a great site!

watching it recently because in my Senior English 1V class, we are studying "Hamlet", and some of the things we need to know about Shakespeare's life are mentioned in the movie. But I do love the movie. The costuming is great! Especially the Golden dress that Gweneth Paltrow wears in the end where she plays Juliette. Question? She has so much hair, how could she fit it all under that wig? Did she have short hair, when they shot those scenes? |
