Dianne Where are you located?Brisbane, Australia How did you find this site?I was searching for ideas to revamp kitchen cupboards, painting/decorate over boring blush pink laminate. Your home and tips are great. I love mucking about with paint, colour, design and texture but have zilch training in any of these. However, I have a natural eye for design and layout of things, kind of a bit ditzy but I know I can make it always look better than it is. It is just starting! Then finishing! I am at the point of ordering hardwood floors for my home (I'm also on a budget but I'm going to splurge w/ hand-scraped hickory) and needed some guidance for the type of baseboards to use that would look "cottage" appropriate. While on your site, I looked at your cabinet re-do (fabulous) and also found your window trim - which confirmed the style I was considering. Simple, straightforward. You saved me a lot of guesswork!
