SATURDAY 9thDecember 2006 BRIDGWATER ROUTE Meet McDonalds car park from10.00am, leaving car park at 10.30am Travel up the A38 to Highbridge railway station car park driving through at 10.45am Travel up the A38, turning on to the Weston Super Mare road at the East Brent roundabout Meet at the Tropicana on Weston sea front from 11.00am leaving at 11.30am Travel along the toll road turning left in Kewstoke and following the signs to Bristol going out through Worle on the Queens road passing over junction 21 of the M5 and onto the A370 Pick up from the lay-by on the left 300mtrs after the junction at 11.50am Continue along the A370 onto the Long Ashton Bye pass and at the end of the Bye pass turn off to the Park and Ride. Arrive at the Long Ashton Park and Ride at 12.30 Leave the Park and Ride at 12,45pm and proceed along the Cumberland Basin and onto the Portway until we reach Avonmouth. Follow signs to Severn Beach and turning left towards Lawrence Weston just after the twin orange towers on the left and the Mercedes commercial dealership on the right Proceed past the entrance to the Municipal tip on the left and continue until the Baptist church on the right hand side as you enter Lawrence Weston FROME ROUTE Meet at Biketorque racing (up near the superstore) from 10.00am leaving at 10.30am Meet at the Globe, Newton St Loe, Bath from 10.30 and be picked up from ride through at 11,00am and arriving at Long Ashton Park and Ride at 12,30 GLOUCESTER ROUTE Meet at the Stonehouse little chef near the M5/A38 junction from 10.00am leaving at 10.30am and arriving at Long Ashton Park and Ride at 12.30 Then we all go to lawence weston and deliver the prezzys |

| Comments: | This is a heartfelt plea to all bikers! I live in a tiny village on the A272 near some tiny traffic lights. I work extremely hard all week and would love to relax (like bikers) at week-ends. Unfortunately I cannot because you all rev and scream off at the lights. This starts at 6 am (today Sunday)and continues all day. PLEASE, PLEASE could I ask you to have your fun on the highway, not through small villages. I am sure you are not aware of the noise and upset you cause, but now you know please let us relax too! We have a small church in the village and at a recent wedding the service was ruined by bikers screaming off when the lights changed. Yours in hope |
