You kontinentals have the best parties and dances in and around the entire city and suburbs. How you kan pack the people in like you do makes this so much more exciting then going to these other hall parties and doo-wop dances that have nothing to offer and your dances everything is free. The food, the dj, the oldies band and all the activities going on is what makes this so much fun. I love seeing people having a good time and meeting new people each time at your parties, pretty good title for this dance, the boo-wop dance. A telegraph cruise with no kontinentals, what is the use of even having it? Sure there were cars out and cruising and cars parked in certain lots, but the hospitality just wasnt at any of these stops like we got from the kontinentals, best of a live DJ and playing all those old commercials and never stop doo-wop. Hate to say this, but this is the first time i've ever been disapointed by the kontinentals. Everybody knew for the last three years all the fine things were with the kontinentals at the American Legion hall, too many bikes and no hospitality. Hope you guy's and gals have a doo-wop dinner dance comming up soon, thats always the best also. | |

In my exp's of all these so kalled cruise nights or parking lot car shows is the kontinentals are representing what the real hot rod culture and gathering of down to earth hot rodders and friends are all about, i just love going to see these great bunch of guys and womeen, best of everything as you have all mentioned here, pizza parties, doo-wop dinner dances, and the best of the rest plus. One thing tee's me off more then these high gas prices is when it rains on tuesday nights, that means no kontinentals cruise nights, i pay these crazy gas prices to attend the best cruise night of the week, now thats REALLY depressing. Love you guys, please order sunny days for tuesdays so i can burn up that gas that i save for tuesday nights of great times, best in doo-wop music and all around fun, then into the club room for some nice relaxing and bench racing. There are just to many cruise nights going on all week every day and night. I save my favorite night of the week to kruise and that is Tuesday nights at the vfw with the kontinentals, great food, best damn music you'll ever hear with doo-wop dan and door prizes galore, those flamed mail box's and tool box's are so cool. I sugest if any club needs pointers for a better cruise night and how to organize perfection, get to the vfw on tuesday nights and have some great fun and watch the count put things in order and all the working kontinentals are well alert and so friendly. Hell, you dont even need a first class show car to attend, they appreciate the participation of being there. What a wonderful learning experience and doo-wop is where it's at, and thats only from the doo-wop dan the man himself. I wanna hear, There Goes by THE ENCHANTERS. I must say the kontinentals have the best cruise night of the week, fantastic trophys, custom tool box and mail box's, hot rod cafe jackets, so much real cool things and great food, very pretty fifty-fifty girl, i just love sitting back enjoying all the fine doo-wop music being played by dan, it just dont get any better then this, then i come up there again and there's live music being played by a rocking and jiving rockabilly band and i heard the Lee Alan theme song, NO CLUB has there own theme song and not just a theme song but, by the most popular radio personality dj voice in the world. I say how kan you fine bunch of guy's rock out so cool? So i come to the telegraph cruise and much to my pleasent surprise, i can sit back drink some beverages and wow, danny is playing doo-wop, IT JUST DONT GET ANY BETTER THEN THIS. It just dont get any better then this, doo-wop music, teriffic trophys biker and cruiser each week, best engine of the monthe award a scale version of ford motor now chevy fuel injected, flamed mail box's and tool box'a, a hot rod cafe jacket with the kontinentals logo patch which goes at the end of the fourth cruise night from purching 50/50 tickets and only $5.00 for 25, best door prizes great food, beer and sodas at very good prices, just the best cruise night of the week, but to be there and sitting back lovin the doo-wop music, then all of a sudden, wow, a live band jammin on some great rockabilly, how can it get any better then this, it possibly cant. Then comes the pizza party which is another part of the great times the kontinentas provide and i for one sure do appreciate your guy's generousity. I have attended a few of your fuctions, dinner dances and a few tuesday night kruise nights and am very pleased with the well organized event and set ups. Count does a fantastic job keeping things in order and making sure everyone is well taken care of, and i even see from time to time special friends and entertainers from the detroit groups that played the detroit scene bars and dances. What makes this such a fun time event is to see all those beautiful cars while doo wop music is being played all thru the night and i get to see the cars and the stars, and thats for sure, doo wop Dan rocks the joint and the food is the best around, so lets cruise and cruise on "KONTINENTALS" | |

Wonderful pizza party you kontinentals do so well. The VFW is a major well organized cruise night you kontinentals control so well, and the gorgeous flamed tool boxes that can be won along with fifty-fifty winnings, very nice and different trophies and door prizes,BUT, the TELEGRAPH CRUISE was the tip of the hats to THE KONTINENTALS and the warm welcome we recieved from the fine folks at the AMERICAN LEGION. Count, & all My other Kontinental Klub Mates.... I won 150.00 at our last Christmas function on 12/04/04! As with any large winnings, I have donated it to the (Michigan Humane Society), I believe in what goes around comes around! So it was donated in my dog: "Chopper's", name that passed away 5 yrs ago. Steve the count your fine tuneing of the kontinentals is a sight to behold. I love you guys and your dances are the utmost, the fine food, the great band, and to see the kontinentals sing with all those detroit legend horn players, and DENNIS COFFEY, holy mack-er-al, the best gig's in all of the greater motor city and surrounding sub's. To the Kontinentals, and ALL OF "OUR" FRIENDS & KRUIZERS... Its been a pleasure getting acquainted with everyone, Since I was named (Favorite Kruizer of the year 2003 & made an Honorary-Member),of the Kontinentals, its been a real Blast! Im Moving to New Hampshire, in the Spring of 2005, and will miss all of you Members & Klassic Kar Kruizers. Since 1969,while a Combat-Paratrooper in the 173rd Airborne Brigade, my squad got almost wiped out around me in Viet Nam, and when i got back, I just felt like I didn't belong back (in the world) anymore, for a long time. Then finally I met The Kontinentals, at Buffalo Wild Wings, in Westland, and it just started to click for me, I got my interest back in Classic Cars again & bought a 1956 Customized Fairlane, Club Sedan, and have been ALIVE again, Thanks to all Of The kontinentals & you many other Classic Car Owners & Kruizers.....All Friends Indeed!!!
