| Comments: | I wanted to thank you for your site. I have been searching for words of comfort as I too am losing a baby. My story is that of a different nature, but still just as painful. It is the worst pain that I have ever felt. I am riddled with sadness. I am currently 8wks pregnant with my second child. I am a single parent of a beautiful 7yr old girl and full time nursing student. I have been in a wonderful relationship with someone for the past 6 months. When I found out I was pregnant I can tell you I felt many emotions, but none of true sadness. I was scared to tell the baby's father as he has made it clear that he never wants children of his own. This pregnancy was truly a surprise. Unfortunatly, due to the circumstances my baby's father will have no part of this pregnancy. I have felt nothing but pressure to not continue this pregnancy from the baby's father, various freinds, and family. I feel pain when ever I think about losing the child that I love, to lose a child that you will never see, never hold, never hear. To lose a baby that you can only see in your dreams. And all of the things that I will miss, first coo's and smiles, first steps and birthdays. To miss little hands that I'll never hold. In my dreams I hold this baby and can feel her warm little body close to mine. I feel helpess as I have no other choice but to terminate my pregnancy. I would be raising two children alone with no support. I have always loved this baby, which makes it even harder to deal with. I only cry at the thought of losing this child.
Everything seems to be falling apart, my studies are way behind, I am failing my 3rd year of school. It's so hard to cope with. There is not one part of me that wants to lose this child. Isn't is crazy that I've been taking prenatal vitamins for a baby with no chance to survive? or watching what I eat and avoiding alcohol? No, not so crazy I guess as any expectant mother would love her unborn baby. The arrangements for the loss of my baby are being made. A mother goes through a loss such as this alone, as there is no funeral or goodbyes. I have no place to go to morn the loss of a face I'll never see. The bond between a mother and a child begins from the moment she see's her test is positive, those two pink lines. It truly begins at that moment. I will be put to sleep for the procedure, like a coward I could not bear to see or hear the environment that I will be losing my baby in. Part of me will die with that child on that dreadful day. I wont want to wake. Where will my baby go? and will it know how much I loved it? and how I will always love it. Forever.... Will I be able to hold my baby in heaven? I have never been so sad in all my life. I know my situation may be hard for some to understand, I feel that I do not have any other choice, as one would feel put into my circumstance. It does not mean that I feel this loss any less than others, nor does it mean my love for the baby invaild. I will feel this pain, this loss, all the rest of my days. I pray for God to forgive me and comfort and care for my baby as he does all the other children in heaven. I was carrying twin boys in 2002 and i last one son around twenty six weeks and I was devestated and was so afraid that I would lose my other son but the Lord allowed him to survive after having a birth weight of 2pounds and 5ounces. My baby boy(Kendall) just celebrated his 2nd birthday on Christmas Eve. I believe the Lord has my son(Kenneth) and the Lord is taking care of him. Even after two years I think about him but the way the world is now at least I can say he is in a better place. I strongly believe that the day I am called home to Glory, i will see my son again. You don't get over losing a child but you learn to deal with that fact and you also learn that the Lord has your best interest at heart. I still was blessed to have 3 boys, 8,3,2. I comments to others, Be strong and yes it is hard but if you allow the Lord to be the with you, he will help you to overcome your hurt. | Comments: | Your site was truly moving. I have had three miscarriages between 4 an 5 months pregnant due to an incompetent cervix. On the 3rd pregnancy I had a suture put in at 11 weeks but still went on to lose the baby whilst on holiday in Egypt at 17 weeks. I am now 10 weeks pregnant and due to have a trans abdominal suture operation on the 15/12/03. I hope and pray this works and must admit I am terrified. I would love to hear from anyone who has had this operation as I do not now what to expect. If this operation has been successful or you have had any problems then I would really like to Know. Please e-mail me preferrably before I go into hospital or any time. I am really scared and need the support. Sorry to hear about the loss of your two children, the pain is something no-one else would even come close to understanding unless they have experienced the same. All the best for the future. |

My husband and I lost our baby girl, Ashley, Nov. 21, 2002 while I was only 19 weeks and 3 days pregnant to an incompetent cervix. When I was dilated 3 centimetres the doctors tried to save the pregnancy via cerclage but 5 days of bedrest after the surgery my water broke. I was devastated when my water broke because I knew my baby wouldn't be able to survive under 20 weeks. I had not known that this tragedy happens to women because no one ever talked about it. Everyone tells me to forget about the baby and move on. They don't know what it's like to lose a baby but I will always think of Ashley, of holding her and loving her and seeing how much she looked like her daddy. She had his fingers, toes, and lips. She had my nose. We could not see her eyes as they were tightly shut. I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Ryan and Kaitlyn. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless you. |

He weighed 7lbs 2oz. He will be 3 months old on September 28. He has blue eyes and blonde hair. He is the most wonderful, spectacular, baby. I love him with all of my heart. When he was born, I was scared because there was something wrong the doctors said, they said his heart beat was dropping quick, and when I had contractions instead of him going down towards the bith canal he went back up in to my stomach, so I had to have a c-section, the whole time I was in labor I thought about you and your husband, and your babies, and I told me that your babies were angel babies looking over my baby and that everything was going to be alright. TAYLER FAITH IS OUR ANGEL AND SHE WAS SUCH AN INSPIRATION TO ALL. I AM RECENTLY REMINDED OF HER DEATH BECAUSE MY HUSBAND AND I LOST OUR GOD-SON ON YESTERDAY TO A DEADLY DISEASE CALLED 'KRABBES DISEASE'. IT IS A DEGENERATIVE DISEASE OF THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM. HE WAS ONLY 1 1/2 YEARS OLD. AS EXPECTED HIS MOTHER IS DEVESTATED AND SO ARE WE. TAYLER WAS OUR 6 PREGNANCY. SHE WAS BORN NOVEMBER 4, '98 AT 6 1/2 MONTHS AND WEIGHED 1LB AND 3OZ. SHE LIVED TO BE 9 1/2 MONTHS OLD. SHE PASSED FROM THIS LIFE ON AUGUST 14, '99. (THIS IS SO IRONIC: THIS IS MY BEST FRIENDS BIRTHDAY, THE SAME ONE WHO JUST LOST HER SON) SHE HAD 5 SURGERIES TO CORRECT A HEART DEFECT BUT AFTER THE LAST ONE HER BODY WAS NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO FIGHT OFF A DEADLY STAPPH INFECTION. I BELIEVE THAT WE MISS HER MOST BECAUSE SHE WAS SUCH A JOY AND HAD SUCH A BIG PERSONALITY. SHE HAD A BEAUTIFUL SMILE AND A LITTLE CRY THAT SOUNDED LIKE A PURRING CAT. SHE CAPTURED SO MUCH LOVE FROM SO MANY PEOPLE. OUR BIGGEST REGRET WAS NOT BEING ABLE TO TAKE HER HOME. WE'VE HAD SEVERAL LOSSES SINCE TAYLER AND ARE PRESENTLY SEEING A FERTILITY SPECIALIST TO DETERMINE WHAT CAUSES MY EARLY LABOR. WE HAVE IN TURN MADE SOME MAJOR LIFE CHANGES. ANYTHING THAT WILL AID US IN OUR LIFE LONG GOAL OF RAISING CHILDREN, WE ARE WILLING TO TRY. TO ALL THE VISITORS OF THIS SITE MY NUMBER ONE SUGGESTION FOR HELPING TO GET THROUGH THE TOUGH TIMES IS TO CONTINUE TO PRAY AND REMEMBER THAT IF WE LIVE THE WAY THE MASTER HAS INSTRUCTED WE WILL SEE OUR ANGELS AGAIN SOME DAY. | Comments: | Thank you for the information on your site. I have the same complication. I lost my first pregnancy in 95, Mikayla at 21 wks.; I tried again in 97(with the stich). I was pregnant with twins who were delivered because my cervix fought the the stich and tore open. Madison lived for 48 hours and her brother Daniel struggled for 1 week. I miss them all dearly. It helps to know that I'm not alone. |

| Comments: | i feel for everyone who lossed there childern. i lossed my baby her name is Emma. she was born 4 mnoths too soon and live 3 wonderfull months that i'll never forget. she fought every day of her little life and makes me so proud of her . but she could no longer fight on 8-14-01 two days be for my birthday,and i would of gave my life so she could live but her lungs would not let her, she had lung dieses. i feel losed and lonly now and she'll be forever miss, she toched so many hearts and gave many much hope. i pray for everone who lossed a child. god bless you all
