I have had them since they were babies. They have been such great companions throughout the years, seeing me through the ups and downs (and two divorces!). Their unconditional love has been such a blessing in my life. My life wouldn't be the same without them. Thank you for having such a wonderful site. Your link to the pet bereavement website is wonderful one. I just checked it out and of course, cried! I know that when the time comes I will find it most helpful.

I have three adorable lil guys...BearBear, Cysco and Hermie..all from the shelter and my lil one was a feral. I have always adopted the older ones (youngest being 1yr4mo) as those are the ones that sucker me out!!!! They eat better and are probably healthier than my husband and myself.....but that's ok! Hope all is well with you. Your sights are always so awesome to view and read. All your lovely babies are so precious. It has been quite a while since I have stopped by as I changed jobs but all is going well. I lost another kitty from my previous job. I am so sad with her loss. Her name was Misty. I found her one day starving and now she is frolicing at the Rainbow bridge with my Sammy and Phantom and your babies. I just adopted a beautiful 10 year old Three-legged cat named Tommy Lee. His previous owner did not want to keep him anymore. Tommy had cancer 1 year ago and had his right rear leg amputated completely. I took him in for his physical last friday as the previous owner did not have him into the vet in over a year. She was going to give him away to the local shelter and I know he would have been euthanized but God another purpose for Tommy and he deserves life each day to the fullest however long he has left when God will take him home and the vet told me the lump on the amputation point is the tumor returned and the cancer is back. I knew the possibility exisisted that it may reoccurr. But I fell in love with him as soon as I saw his picture from the We Care Animal No Kill shelter here in St. Helena. They network to we members who belong and pass along the needs of cats or dogs. My heart is so sad but also happy that Tommy came into my life and what a God Send he is too me. I now is so affectionet and loving. I have special window step perches set up for him to look out at my bird feeders and getting all excited to watch the birds and squirrels in the yard. The vet gave my pretnzone for him to help the growth and inflammation. He is still very active and eats well and now is so much happier and not depressed anymore as he was when I first adopted him. He loves to cuddle with me at night in the bed. The vet is having me monitor his tempature dailey as it was high when I took him in. The vet wants me to just keep loving and spoiling him the way I am now and that will never end. He wants me to just make him as comfortable as possible to the end. The vet took a full body scan and the cancer is nowhere else in his beautiful body. The vet could not judge how long he has but did tell me when the time comes when he will have alot of pain and dying to bring him into the vet and he will make him as comfortable as possible and I can be with him when he passes away. I love him so much and I am so happy that God allowed me to have this beautiful boy no matter how long he has left. I love him so much. Please keep Tommy Lee in your prayers and pray for a miracle for him. I do know that when He leaves this earth he will be with all his new friends and all of our pets at the Rainbow Bridge just playing and jumping on all fours restored. God Bless You KC for your beautiful sights that people like myself and others can turn to for strenth and comfort in the last days with our beloved animals. All My Love and Friendship to You KC. I had a cat named Trouble for 18 years that passed away on December 15th of 2000.We took her in as a half dead stray kitten & with our care she lived for 18 years & became a member of our family. My husband buired her under a shade tree in the back yard & I bought a wooden cross with flowers.I go out there & visit her often. I got two kittens from the shelter
& I love them very much & they will never replace Trouble but are making their own place in my home. Thank you for shareing CenCen. God's blessings. |
