COMMENTS	I've been a fan for awhile, but just watched Dangerous Beauty and I realized that what they were instructing Veronica (Catherine McCormack) to do - appear as if the man she's looking at is the only one in the world- is exactly what is so magical about the way Rufus looks at the camera and makes me feel - so naturally, I'm completely head-over-heels! The chemistry he had on screen with Catherine was so palpable, it literaly made my heart ache - I guess in a good way - for hours afterwards. I think he is one of the most expressive and talented actors out there and I hope to see more! Rufus - there might be a slight resemblence to Joaquin Phoenix, and he's handsome and talented, too, sure - but he doesn't make my heart skip...several beats. I wish you all the best in your life and your career.

COMMENTS	I love this man. I've followed his films and he is one of the most verstile actors I've ever seen. He should be very happy with himself. He made Tristan+Isolde as good a movie as it is. It would be just another hollywood cop out but he made it a work of art. His monologue near the end made me feel like I was being yelled at and not just the character who really deserved it. He plays a badest of bad villain and a heartwarming, and fully genuine good guy. I really hope he reads this. I want him to know what his career in film and television has meant to me.

How many of you know that Kenneth Branaghs Hamlet is now out on a 2 disc set? the reason I mention that is because alot of people may forget that Rufus plays the role of a Prince in that movie a small role and one of his earlier roles but worth the seeing also it has a whole host of great actors including Derek Jacobi,Julie Christie,Billy Crystal and the late Jack Lemmon so worth the watching,I most certaintly recommend it and also because Rufus is there in one his great earlier roles have a nice day Angie!

COMMENTS	I hope this message will find Sir Rufus and Mr. Sewell. I have yet to see a better presence on the screen as performed in the roles of the villian. I always know I will be entertained when Mr. Sewell plays the bad guy. I'm sure he is capable of much more. I hope that he won't get painted into a corner in his career. However, he is the best at this aspect of acting I've ever seen.In my life I doubt I will see another. I've read Mr. Sewell's profile. His concern about being viewed as someone he is not is valid. Mr. Sewell is very convincing. I too am good at what I do...I was not able to avoid the painted corner. Mr. Sewell's profile is refreshing in terms of attempting to remain sensative to these issues. COMMENTS	I just watched The Taming of the Shrew (about 4 or 5 times)on DVD and I was blown away. The dynamic between Shirley Henderson and Rufus Sewell was brilliant and the subtlety, underlying warmth and pathos both of them brought to the screen took the story beyond the hysterically funny to deeply endearing psychological profiles. It made me want to know them both (the characters as well as the actors themselves. Exceptional actors who deserve enormous success.

I've seen The lIlusionist last evening for the very first time and I said"wouu"!,but not because of the magic"blah,blah"that Eisenheim did,it's because of your fascinating caracter,Prince Leopold.So,so inteligent,so stong,so focused and above all,so sad man.I don't know that people have noticed,but if there was a plot,then the prince was the victim,the one who was betraied sadly and painfuly.(I don't understand why the writter killed him,becouse he's not a baddie at all.Actually he's only one honest there.) However,you've done a great job.Again.And thank you for all you work and all my respect for the strenght you take in every thing you're doing.I've said that before:very few like you!(Great actor,handsom and fascinating personality in one single man!Very few,trust me!) Mr. Sewell may not want to be stereotyped in period/costume dramas, but he is so exceptional in them and the public does want more. COMMENTS	Did a search in hope to find out that Rufus was returning to the London stage sometime in the future but instead found this very nice site which I will be visiting for news in future. Was very sad to miss Rock'n Roll (due to a rather messy break-up which involved moving house etc) as I've been wanting to see Rufus on stage for some time. I guess for now I will have to settle for rewatching some of his better movies and hope that one day I get to see him perform in real life. He has such a wonderful ability to give his characters a real spirit, a soul really. Keep up the good work on the site. It's great to know where to go for an update in future.

COMMENTS	I have kept an eye out for all productions featuring Rufus since I first saw him in 'Arcadia' at the National. I was fortunate to visit him in his dressing room when he was appearing in 'Rat in the Skull' in London and we discussed Thomas Hardy a little as he was also filming 'The Woodlanders' at the same time, a book I'd just recently read. He is a fascinating personality (as well as being incredibly attractive) and his work has great depth and variety. I loved 'Rock and Roll', but I'm also a Stoppard fan... COMMENTS	I discovered the totally gorgeous Rufus Sewell when watching Ken Branagh's HAMLET in which Rufus played Fortinbras. Even then, I recognized the magnetism of a great actor. Since his performance in THE LEGEND OF ZORRO, I have sought out every film in which he has appeared. We even ordered SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE from Australia. Mr. Sewell has a great talent and seems to have a gentleness even when playing King Charles. Love that curly hair and sultry voice!
