My son and I were able to see RnR in NYC a couple of weeks ago and had an awesome time (march 1st). We met up with some of the gals I've chatted with online at the fansites and also were able to meet Rufus a few times that weekend. It was so much fun. I've been a fan for awhile, but just watched Dangerous Beauty and I realized that what they were instructing Veronica (Catherine McCormack) to do - appear as if the man she's looking at is the only one in the world- is exactly what is so magical about the way Rufus looks at the camera and makes me feel - so naturally, I'm completely head-over-heels! The chemistry he had on screen with Catherine was so palpable, it literaly made my heart ache - I guess in a good way - for hours afterwards. I think he is one of the most expressive and talented actors out there and I hope to see more! Rufus - there might be a *slight* resemblence to Joaquin Phoenix, and he's handsome and talented, too, sure - but he doesn't make my heart skip...several beats. I wish you all the best in your life and your career. | |

I love this man. I've followed his films and he is one of the most verstile actors I've ever seen. He should be very happy with himself. He made Tristan+Isolde as good a movie as it is. It would be just another hollywood cop out but he made it a work of art. His monologue near the end made me feel like I was being yelled at and not just the character who really deserved it. He plays a badest of bad villain and a heartwarming, and fully genuine good guy. I really hope he reads this. I want him to know what his career in film and television has meant to me. | |

Oh my God, WHAT a movie and WHAT A FACE you have, Mr. Sewell! I just finished Amazing Grace, and needless to say I cried. Nothing like a good cry. Thank you for your marvelous work!
