I am writing an article including Hunt's "Afterglow in Egypt," and I would like to know the source for the interesting letter from Hunt to Millais that you quote; could you or anyone else who knows this possibly send me the reference? I would not have known of this quote if I hadn't come across your web site--thanks!

http://www.livejournal.com/~mahlerchick Hello! You commented about www.faeryshop.com on the PR community and through that comment I discovered your page. I'm not entirely sure how. But I read what you have thus far of tha manga and am very, very impressed. An anime fan myself, your illustrations are far better than many that I've seen in more popular manga. I love this site, too! Thanks for your obvious dedication to it.

Interesting website - thank you.

The painting Afterglow in Egypt is in the Southampton Art Gallery, UK - just by chance I saw it for the first time when I was visiting there today, and had a look on the web for some more info.

Just thought you'd like to know.

http://www.angelfire.com/stars/knutsford/index.html I am a Beatrice Ethel Hackman/Flaxman doppelganger, so much
so that I'm searching into my family history to see if we
are related. If there are any other lookalikes out there,
please get in touch.

Also, any information about where Beatrice was from and any
other information about her would be extremely welcome.

Beatrice and Ethel are family names on my mother's side of
the family (the Done and Harrop families from
Lancashire/Derbyshire).

I didn't know who Waterhouse was until yesterday when I
discovered "'I am half-sick of the shadows" said the Lady
of Shalott" when I found an image of myself in front of me.

I was wondering if you have ever found any artwork that is
related to the "Arthurian" legend. I'm interested in
posters of Camelot, Knights, Castles, etc. I currently have
several of the Waterhouse posters and am interested in work
of the same style/era as his "Lady of Shallot" and similar
pieces. I have also seen John Grimshaws' Lady of Shallot &
would be interested in posters of his work. If you could
forward me any information as to how I might be able to
find posters of this type of work, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks for your time,
Mark

I have a print in my dining room of "Rosamund" in a blue

I can never seem to find that one in the books I have on
