With half of home users on modems still, the only drawback on this site is the weight, all images could be optimized at lower quality and reduced in size to improve access to all audiences. | Comments: | So I was perusing a dusty kids version of Treasure Island, which I found buried under the pile of generic Disney princess books at Borders and soaking up the big and thrilling pirate illustrations by N.C. Wyeth and I remembered that John, Sr. had been bugging me to look up this Artistic Enigma site of cousin Glenn's daughter, Laura, which he enthused about so much that it made me suspicious. And no doubt Mary is much more pixieish and engaging out behind Mill Creek Church of the Brethren at the Diehl family reunions (which I think you punked out on last year, Laura), while I just had a tough time trying to raise a reaction out of Laura to anything. But, 'tis is the day after Christmas and I finally pay you a visit. You are wonderful, creative and talented illustrator and artist. You have a vivid imagination and diverse interests and a great sense of the whimsical and an evidently unjaded sensitivity (but you still can't make me like fuzzy small animal art, unh-uh, no sirree, no way, no how, oh drat you...). (Okay, Dad, you weren't exaggerating). I plan to now communicate with you by e-mail, so maybe next time we meet you will speak.
