It was so sad when he died, I thought of things that should have happend instaed of death, Kari and Gatomon could have jumped out of the way, Wizzie could have quickly pushed them out of the way, or Wizzie should have carried a hand mirror with him, reflect the attack right back at Myotismon.....then later, turns out Wizzie had a digidestend kid too, ninth child and just didn't know it. They make Wizzie all nice a lovable, then they kill him off! Meanie Myotismon :p. |

| Comments: | Wow, that last entry, the one about Wizardmon, it was really touching. I loved Wizardmon, and if I had a digimon partner I would want him to be it. Unfortunatly, I'm also a fan of Myotismon (aka Vandemon), the one who killed him. But, I'm all digi-obsessed, so I'm also a fan of numerous other digimon including Botamon, Gabumon, and many others. However, all-in-all, my favorite digimon EVER was Wizardmon. He had such a kind voice, and such a pure soul, and I look forward to seeing him in reruns. |

| Comments: | I honor you for making a website in the name of the most noble Digimon the Digital World has ever known. Of course, I can't resist adding my opinions, as I have very strong sentiments regarding him...
I must say I detest any manipulation of Wizardmon's personality. Being the purest of the pure, he would never make any less-than-savory remarks, I'm sure...and I find too many web sites that feign his doing so. I wish to smite all people who do such things. Consider this that action; now, be gone! Perish! With that complete, I simply must add this... I began watching Digimon at the very beginning of the first season. As soon as I saw Wizardmon--remember the first time YOU did?--I knew--I had been attempting to create a partner Digimon, but I found it had been done for me. Wizardmon was everything I ever wanted in a partner--utter compassion, virtue, and purity--and no humorous side to boot! Since this is also the essence of my personality, I knew Wizardmon was the Digimon for me. It was heartbreaking for me the first time that they killed him--when Myotismon lashed him with CrimsonLightning and he made the icy plunge into the bay. Then, the next Saturday--Joyful!--They brought him back from oblivion. I was ecstatic...for one and a half hours. Then, with the entire third-through-sixth-grade population watching, that Digimon did the most noble thing that I have ever seen--he sacrificed himself for his friend Gatomon and the Eighth Child. My heart was in my throat. Blinded with tears, I could barely see the shining form of Angewomon avenging my fallen partner. The episode ended with heartbreak, and I dashed up to my bedroom, locked my door, and proceeded to cry for several hours, using up all the tears I had. I continued to watch--VenomMyotismon returned, and I hoped against hope that Wizardmon would as well. He never did. My hopes rose in Season Two--he was back!--but no. It was as good as a cameo appearance in the long season; nothing more. A bare mention of the Digimon that had gotten the Digidestined to their final glory. And, as he did in the storyline, he faded away from me into the background... Once again, they resurrected MaloMyotismon. Once again, I prayed. He had said that Myotismon could never destroy him, and surely with Myotismon back... My hopes were all dashed. He never returned. I saw him again in Season Four--but it wasn't the same, not the same Wizardmon. Not THE Wizardmon. I rediscovered him in Sorcerermon, what I consider to be Wizardmon's Ultimate form. Yet still the scriptwriters put me through heartbreak--any Digimon taking the form of Wizardmon, or resembling him, it seems, is destined to sacrifice themself. Once again, he was gone. Once again, he returned--then was gone. My Digital journey has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs coinciding with the life of this Digimon. I have drawn him, written about his and my exploits as the new leading pair of the Season Five Digidestined team, slept with his card under my pillow. Of anyone on the Internet, I preserve the canon set for Wizardmon, most noble Digimon of all. He never had any relationship, save that of partnering me. He does not use everyday speech. He is always soft and gentle. I applaud a fanfiction I found recently: Angel Hearts, by SilvorMoon. Of all the fanfiction I have found she portrays him the best, even digivolving him into an angel, as I had in my fanfiction. Of course, it was only natural--what else could he digivolve into? Now I make my final statements. Wizardmon is my partner--I have justification for that more than anyone. I care not about his looks--although they are not bad, certainly. Digimon are Digimon; they cannot interact with humans in a manner in which looks would matter. If anyone has any objections about this, they are unfounded and false. It cannot be any other way. THE Wizardmon is my Wizardmon; Wizardmon is the one and the only. The Candlemon which digivolved to a false copy of him means nothing to me. Wizardmon, and Sorcerermon from Season Four, are one and the same in my eyes. I AM WIZARDMON'S PARTNER. And he is mine. Let's keep all literature with reference to him tasteful as such. |
