Just a quick note to add Texas Chapter 12's best wishes for both Ken and Mitch and for quick recoveries. We add their families in our thoughts and prayers, and we hope for full recoveries soon. Then Wesley lead us off the beaten path along county road 1131 where we rode along a couple of curvy roads, up & down little hills, with Comanche Peak on our left and the sun in our eyes & we even crossed a low water crossing. (Ok, so there wasnt any water in it...it sounded good ). We were met by three more bikes at Don Ayalas where we had the Cantina area to ourselves for good food, laughter, & a story or two. And it was nice & cool riding back home ! Thanks Wes & Cat.

As Road Captain I always worry about the safety of the club and friends on these rides. We had BY FAR, the largest group of RIDERS at the RGC.
The group of bikes that made the ride home on Sunday did a great job of making time. I don't think anybody in the group thought when we rolled out of Eureka Springs on Sunday morning, that we would be home in just over 8 hours!

Janie and I express our our most sincere appreciation for the friendships, acceptance, and brotherhood we expreienced with Texas Chapters XXI and II during our mutual adventures and travels to Eureka Springs and the RGC. We had a blast, an experience to remember, mostly cause I took alot of pics, the humiliation of towing my bike, and the opportunity to get away and relax in the company of great Blue Knight brothers and sisters! I thank you, my wife thanks you, TAR thanks you, and even my trailers says Hey! See everyone again hopefully at Garner in a few weeks.

The run will start 1:30 at Tommy's Barbecue, 2840 W. Irving Blvd, in Irving and will ride down to the Dallas VA Medical Center. Since it is Memorial Day Weekend, the ride is to allow people to show their support and appreciation for our Nation's Veterans. The event will include a bike show, entry fee is $5 and the residents of the medical center will vote on the top three bikes. Top three bikes win an American flag that can be attached and flown on the motorcycle. Donations will be accepted, books, magazines, movies, lap blankets, items like that. After run get-together at Strokers. Let me know if you would like more information. It'd be great to see you there!!!

It's going to be a long and drawn out process, but Justin is stable. They've started to wean him off the coma & paralyzing drugs and the ventillator. Hopefully he'll be out of ICU soon.

This time it was pretty serious and quite an emergency. He is currently in ICU in Baylor-Dallas with another surgery scheduled for some time this week---maybe tomorrow. He's on a ventillator and is completely unconscious (per drs request) but I suppose is doing well all things considered. No infection or anything like that. Justin, myself, and our three kids all need as many prayers as we can get right now.
