| Comments: | I'll be honest...When my brother and his wife said "Let's go to Land-O-Pines", I thought it would probably be a dump and I wouldn't have a good time. I had never been there, and they had been there several times. So, my wife and kids went with them to this place they raved about. Boy was I surprised! It was probably one of the nicest weekend trips I've taken. The rental unit was nice and clean, the service and staff were GREAT, and the atmosphere was relaxing. We're going again in a few weeks. | Comments: | Our first camping trip with LOP was in 1987, when the owners were Ned and Jim/Mary. Good people, family atmosphere. I still remember Mr. Jim yelling at my sister-in-law during a hot summer game of cabbage ball, "STRIIIIIIKE"! We still watch and laugh at that video. I've seen my sister's children grow up camping with us at LOP. Now, I have a little one that I want to start LOP tradition in camping. Lester, myself and Candace is sooooo happy we were finally able to get a permanent site! My sister also was able to get a permanent site....her children still come with her......their grown, married with children children of their own making their kodak moments. Keep up the great work Linda, Dave and Jim, Mary. Land O Pines has made a great deal of treasured memories not only in the past but present also!
