http://joe3998.tripod.com/adventuremagazine I am a fan from way back. In fact Blair Latta was kind enough to say this about ADVENTURE:

"...mind-blowing ezine. Very professional...in other words...WOW!"
Blair Latta, Co-Editor, Pulp and Dagger Fiction

What a dazzling array of color and action and plotting only from Latta himself, the kinds of adventures only the very greatest of imagniations can offer. I am a writer of adventure fiction and it is closely allied with pulp, I invite all of you readers to Adventure Magazine.

http://www.kost2kost.com Whoa, dude. I have just come home from the ER where I said goodbye to my father, who passed away at 89. And, drinking a Brother Thelonius abbey ale once back home, I thought of my high school acquaintance Geoff Leskowski, who was deep into Monk, Hamilton, Davis. Geoff's best friend was Jeff Blair, comic book artist extraordinaire (and my round the corner neighbor). Google this, google that, and I come upon your website and a picture that I can easily imagine as Jeff Blair ten or more years after our high school graduation. When and how did Jeff's 'untimely death' occur? Grateful and sad, Will

I stumbled in on a research on free community role-playing. Seems soon I am the only person who doesn't play World of Warcraft? ;o)

http://pariahtales.blogspot.com Pulp and Dagger Fiction fans:

I have recently published a collection of my short stories, PARIAH TALES. It's 76 pages long, paperback. One of the featured stories is "The Buried Moon", which first appeared in this fine webzine.

If you liked "The Buried Moon", there's more where that came from. Please click on my Homepage URL for details.

It was a great honor appearing in this webzine with so many talented writers. Pulp and Dagger is one of my favorite sites!

Great stuff. I especially liked "The Buried Moon". Didn't see the surprise, funny ending coming. Good writing.

For a long time I thought I was the only one who liked this genre of fiction. It is refreshing to find a place like this, it has character. Thanks to the writers and editors of the ezine I have a new hangout.

Thanks again.

Please let me express my condolences over Blair's passing.
He will be missed by myself, and I am sure many other regular readers and writers at P&D.
He was unique in that he provided a free website, wherein people who like Fanatsy/ Sci-Fi and action stories could
not only come here and read such stories, but also contribute to the genre with their own writings.
He realised that professional prose and polish was less important than the simple love of reading and writing adventure pulp fiction.
Thanks to Blair I was published for the first time, it matters little to me that it was on a free website, outside of the mainstream of professional publishing houses and websites. I will never forget how excited and happy I was when Blair emailed me and said that he was going to publish Wolves in the Forest. I am sure many other P&D writers have felt the same way. I have gone on to have some of my stories paid for and published by online magazines such as Bikernet.com and others. But it was Blair and P&D that gave me the confidence to do so. I will never forget that.
Blair, travel well through Infinity and Eternity my friend.
Thank you.

I've been visiting the site for quite a while now and it's great!!! I like this new idea of occasionally "dredging up from the archives", and representing an older story on the main page. Because even though it's in the archives, it's easy to miss and there are a lot of good stories I know I haven't read...yet! But, of course, keep the new stories coming as well!
