I went to a Catholic School, and was permitted to go to the March for Life from 5th grade on. When I was 16 I got pregnant, I feel so strongly about Abortion, that I hid my pregnancy from my parents until I knew that they wouldnt force me to do something i felt so strongly about. Even though they are Catholic, I knew how they would react. I gave birth to my daughter at 17, alone (my boyfriend left me after our parents found out). Never 1 day have i not been so happy for having my daughter. She is 12 now, and a handful, and I still to this day feel as she saved my life. The Joy, love and happiness that she gave me can be matched by nothing else. I cant understand a full grown adult, responsible for their own actions cannot feel the same way about life and gifts from god as a 16 year old girl that is scared, lost and confused. Im now married, and have 2 other children, I too have felt heatbreak, experienced the loss of miscarriage, and rape. Never would even the thought of abortion cross my mind, no matter what the circumstance. Life is exactly that, life. We arent to have the power to take it, just as we dont decide when life happens. My youngest daughter aske dme once (she is now 6) why it was ok to kill babies, and not kill gorwn ups. How can one respond? I tried my best to explain that some people take our "womens rights" a bit too far. Somehow in these peoples mind its OK to kill a human baby, simply because it is hidden at this time, and out of sight, out of mind. If it was OK, then it would be allright to decide that a child didnt turn out how you expected, you dont get along, whatever the excuse, is it ok then to kill them? NO! Abortion is simply that a blatent twisting of the rules of humanity and morality. |

I do understand how some "feel" that they have to, but there is no excuse for murder of an innocent child. If "Stacey" has put herself in a position of being "gang" raped, could she have made BETTER choices to have prevented that nightmare?

Deb & I are married 27 years have four children 3 in college and a 7th grader. During our marriage, we were blessed to be a foster family for pre adoptive infants 12 (ten boys and two girls) over ten years. All went onto adoption. We believe in life, babies and as you so clearly stated give life a chance. We were blessed to be behind the scenes so to speak during the adoption process. We were between the birth parents and the adoptive parents. We have learned that the birth parents give those children up in LOVE, what a courageous decision to give your child up so another couple can love and nuture the child. wow. So many of the sadnesses of the world our world could be healed if only people would choose life. We still remember all 12 stories, our kids value life having seen the results of love and trust. We always viewed the job of foster parents as we are to love them from the day we get them until they leave and they will leave. What an honor to be part of that plan. God's plan to provide life and gift it to a couple from another couple NO MATTER the circumstances it is a NEW life and deserves a chance. On our dining room wall next to the last supper we have a group pictures of our 12 foster babies. We tell people the 12 at the table belong to Jesus Christ, we had the honor of loving these 12 for him. God Bless Thank you for having the courage to put your pro life site up on the net. Her parents don't know we were the foster family. God is good. |
