As we grew, Chan grew into this larger then life popular girl .. and i grew geeky .. She never ever not said hello to me, was never mean, conversed if she had time. Point being we had grown apart, and in high school we all know its social destruction if you talked to geeks ... but she never cared, even defended me to our local bullies .. and they sure listened because no one could touch Chan because she was just an awesome person.. I too adore Winnie the Pooh, and I too am struggling with an eating disorder. Reading her story actually made me cry cause I can relate so much. I send my condolences to the Plante family. Take care.

See, what caught my attention is that we lost our beautiful 19 yr old granddaughter Chantel Nicole Still Fri.July 27, 2007. It's been a week and a half and I can say that my heart is truly broken. We were so close. This is so hard. The memorial you created for your daughter is so beautiful. I know that we have our memories but when your heart is hurting it is hard to carry on. See I was 39 when Chanted was born and our youngest was 10, so she was always like my baby too. I am so greatful that when we parted it was always with a hug and an I love you. She would have been 18 Dec.29,2005. We were very close like you and your daughter. My daughter suffered from depression and worried about her weight alot too. She could not handle the mean kids at school. So her last 3 years I home schooled her. I lost her to a blood clot to her lungs very unexpectedly. My son tried to revive her to no avail. He is older and took it pretty hard too. Emt's could not revive her either. That day plays over and over in my mind like a broken vcr player. I cry all the time. Her room is still the same as it was. It has been longer for you. Does it get any better? I do feel as thought half of me is gone. I miss her so . She could make me laugh and we always shopped together and did crafts together. I just wanted to tell you that your relationship with your daughter is the relationship I have always wanted with my mom. My mother is not the expressive type, unfortunately.
