| Comments: | I just wanted to say I am so sorry you lost your beloved daughter to an asthma attack. I lost my sister Diane in June last year to exactly the same thing, she said she didn't fell well, lay on the sofa and just stopped breathing, that was that, no warning and nothing anyone could do. She was 32 years old and had been married for only 7 weeks, she was the happiest we had ever known her. We have been through the worst time of our lives, its unbelievable how fast asthma can kill. Diane had asthma for a lot of years but it was never anything serious, she just took her inhalers and she was fine again. This has left a huge hole in my life, I miss her so much and feel so robbed of all the times I could be spending with her. To make things worse we lost her twin sister 4 years earlier to liver failure, so now I have no siblings and my parents have lost twin daughters. I have saw their heartbreak and know exactly what you are going through, once again I am so sorry xx |

From your description of her she brought light to everyone she came in contact with, and I can see that in her pictures. I am so sorry for your pain and grief. I too lost my first-born. His name was David and he was 39 years old when he had a massive brain anuerysm on March 26, 1998. Ten months later we lost our precious 16 yr. old granddaughter, Cassandra (our daughter's child) also very unexpectedly from complication from the flu and pneumonia. My mom just passed away on the 13th of October. I walk this journey of grief with you but we have another who walks it with us and that is Jesus Christ and He will not fail us or forsake us. Cathy is now with the Master of the Universe as are David and Cassie and are experiencing joy and love far beyond anything we as humans could comprehend. May Jesus comfort you and your family and that beautiful precious child Cathy gave birth to. She is her legacy. You are so blessed to have her. My son did not have children although he was married for almost 20 years. God's blessings to you from one bereaved mom to another. I care.

I am so sorry for your loss. My son was three years older than Cathy when he had a massive brain anuerysm. He too was on a respirator for a week and than we had to let him go, so I understand the pain involved in that. His favorite color also was blue and he loved Maine as well. In fact he was stationed in Maine in New Brunswick for 3 years while he was in the Navy. They tell me "God always takes the good ones" from listening to Cathy's story and so many others I've read about including my beautiful 16 yr. old granddaughter Cassie whom we lost only 10 mos. after our son, I can truly understand that saying. My heart goes out to you and your loved ones, especially Cathy's children. I think a mother's heart understands and feels the pain more than anyone else. i cannot keep the unbidden tears from falling, over the years i have Met many Nurses that have touched my life the way your Cathrine has so many others. i Had a nurse very much like her when my Benjiman Left my arms and 2 others who are with me everytime i have to take My Youngest son to the Hospital he is very ill and we spend a lot of time there he is such a wonderful boy and his nurses always go that extra mile to get him to take his meds and things when he wont even do it for me The loss of your sweet Cathrine is a loss to many children i know she is up holding my Benjiman Love and hugs Pammi |
