I have been blessed with children, grandchildren and even a great-grandchild. My Melody was diagnosed with heart issues at the age of 12. For years we lived in the ambulances, hospitals and emergency rooms. Pace Makers and continuous tests and surgeries, often wondering if she would survive the next one. Praying ceaselessly, willing to barter for her life. Trying to make promises and "deals" with the Almighty. I don't know why she is still with us, all I know is how grateful I am daily that she is. After all was said and done, she was not suppose to have children. At 34 she married and go pregnant with her first child. He is so amazing and his name is Danny. 2 weeks ago she gave birth to his brother, Sammy. Why have we been spared and you not? We may never know the answer to this question. I do know that each time I think of our Danny, I also think of yours and know that each day is precious. We know loss. We know pain. But the basic truth is that it is unnatural for parents to outlive their children. It is harder to accept. Why do we go on and they don't? All I know is that the Heavenly Father YHWH does have a plan. He is at war constantly with His fallen creation Ha'Satan (may YHWH rebuke him)and that we must remember at all times that it is HIS war, not ours. Our only job is to say, "Father, how can I help you?" I give no acknowledgment to the adversary. I am way out of his league and I do not stand a chance against him. The Father will protect me from my enemies. I will let Him lead and I will follow and do HIS will. This is the way it must be. He made us, not we ourselves. We are here to serve Him. Danny will serve Him. It is his purpose for being. We will reign on high with Him in the end. It is Faith alone that will bring us to that place of understanding. A place of peace in knowing we are all in this together. YHWH is the KING! The glory of His son YahuShua (Jesus)has shown us the way to His truth and light. He did not die on that cross so we can sin, but did it to set us free from sin. We must choose to do it His way. Only then can He use us to His glory. HalleluYah! You will see Danny again. I am a leukemia survivor, but I have many friends who were not and I miss them all. My dearest friend was Sarah Hohenwarter from Lancaster, PA. | Comments: | Wow. This site took my breath away. Cancer is such an ugly word, such an unfair disease. I am so very, very sorry for the loss you must feel all the time. While Heaven gains another angel, we lose the one we love so dearly. Thank God; yes, thank God for his mercy and lovingkindness. Without a doubt He welcomed Danny back home with open arms and fully restored him to health. Praise be we have God to rely on!
