Guess how much has been spent in vet bills, for the month of July 2001, on Copper and Leilah.

Rules:
You have until midnight, August 1st, 2001 to register your guesses! Late guesses MIGHT count if I haven't done the work yet finishing this up. I will try to put the guesses I get from elsewhere onto here if you don't do it yourself. But I cannot be held responsible for missing any guesses not posted here by the guesser! The Winner is the person closest to the actual amount, as recorded in my checkbook. Going over is fine, just if there's a tie, there may be multiple winners. Please do not use the same guess as anyone else. If you guess more than once, then only the last guess counts.

The Winner will be announced during the first week of August, you can check back for results here or at www.wonderpuppy.net, and I will post it in a few places too. Prize to be a surprise! (I hope to make it interesting, LOL.) No, the winner will not have to pay those bills. Judge's decision is final unless she does the math wrong.

Include any meds and procedures given by the vets, this is for total bills! Do not include time, gas, and supplies bought at places other than vet's offices.

So far, as of the start of this contest, July 21, 2001:
Leilah has seen: Regular Vet, Oncologist (twice), and Holistic Vet. She's had 2 xrays, an ultrasound and a cystocentesis. She's also been given a course of antibiotics by regular vet, as well as acidophilus, vitamins, and fish oil caps from holistic vet. (And, if you don't already know, she's ok now.)

Copper has seen: Regular Vet, Dermatologist, and is scheduled for an Opthomologist on July 27 [see update below], during this contest. That will be a PRA followup, and I am not anticipating any meds or procedures. He's also had a full blood panel run.

6 months supply Interceptor for each of them.

***UPDATE***** Due to an unforseen dental emergency (for me, not the dogs), we missed the opthomologist appointment and will have to reschedule for next month. Do not figure it into your guess. If you wanna change your guess, go right ahead!

Will there be unexpected vet visits before the deadline? Have I forgotten anything? I sure hope not!

All veterinarians involved practice in Los Angeles or Orange Counties (read as: not especially cheap!)

Hint: it's gonna be 4 digits for the dollars, 2 digits for the cents!
