The Banner was paraded, Harry the Horse stood firm, an old alliance was re-ignted with Mermaid Beach A E M E Surf Life Saving Club and lots of great moments and great food. It was great to see the HoC, Deputy HoC - Air, Deputy HoC - Ground and the Corps RSM in attendance. Make sure that you put next years luncheon in your diary/planner asap. Blue |

| Comments: | Hi all
For those who haven't heard, I have resigned as webmaster for the Association after a very long tenure. I decided that eighteen years of involvement with the "Olds & Bolds" and the RAEME Asssoc was enough. It is now time for some of the younger, serving members to stand up and be counted - who will be the first. I'll still be about the traps albeit busier with my work so I may not make it to all of the meetings or functions but you can be sure that I'll be at the Port Office on ANZAC DAY. The lads were truely impressed by the Corps spirit that motivated the sponsors and volunteers to put the Packs together CHEERS! Oh, and the RAEME stencil has come in very handy...

| Comments: | It would be good if we could get a snap shot of where ex- Appy's are now. I often wonder what has happened to the boys from the 29th and those Appys who went to OCS while I was there in 1978. I certainly know or have been told that a couple alas have fallen on hard times.
It was around this time 30 years ago during officer training that I was at the Mullungdung State Forest during Ex Dual Sabre. Seems like y/day. Thankfully it wasn't -'cause it was very, very cold and very, very wet. Darryle Knowles 29th ET (1974)/OCS (1978) |

Keen to hear from any 38th Class members that may have settled in the Brisbane area. Stay safe and best wishes to all |
