| Paul and rest of Friends, I grew up in Macon GA, riding the bus with Bill Berry and Mike Mills to HS, but lost touch in 1979 when I moved away. I remember Paul as great guy that would give the shirt of his back to his fellow friends at Central HS in Macon. I partied at the Allman Bros farm back then and the works. Paul, you may remember my sister Christy who dated Johnny Landrum. I met my wife in Athens in 1987 after moving there in 1985. We soon moved to Atlanta, and lost touch for some time after we moved to TN. I have been in Macon a lot lately due to Mom's illness, and it is great to remember so many old friends. I have always loved music, but it took me so long to realize how much. After 40 it started to resonate, and I have had some fun singing with a few bands lately time from time. | Another guest book! Yea! No spam. I keep coming back to this site to remember life again. It's really nice to read what you guys write about. I remember life when I lived behind the bus station downtown. It was great then. I made so many friends that I wish it never ended. When my friends were in town and needed a place to spend any in between time I always got a visit. I miss all you guys and the life we used to lead. The parties both planned and spontaneous. Happy hour at Abbot's. The last resort. Tyrone's, the Little Tigers and all the rest. Its just too much to name in these short minutes. I remember during the rewind I stayed at the Game Day and could see the back of my old house behind the bus station from the parking deck. |
