| Comments: | I came across your page looking for information to write an essay on Joe. I really enjoy your analysis of his character, and your quotes page is a great resource.
I think Joe is the character I find myself relating more to as I get older, and not just for the hypochondria and low self esteem issues we share xD I think the purpose for his character in the series is to show a slightly different kind of a story to the other kids, and one that older viewers can relate to more easily. We never see his parents so he seems a little more independent and he's also trying to decide on a career which none of the other children are even considering doing! I think the fact that it's about transitioning to adulthood makes his the most interesting story to me, and I don't think people can overlook him as a less important character, because I really do think he brings something different to the series. For me, he's the most important character, but I think that's a personal thing depending on who you relate to (and that's what's so great about digimon). Anyway, I'm rambling now :P I loved your page. |
