I just read your page about Seymour. I am so sorry for your loss, I know how that feels. I myself have a nine year old male orange tabby named, Hatcat. He was diagnosed with Diabetes last January. I have been treating him with Insulin ever since, as well as Purina Dm formula cat food. He has not missed a beat. He is absolutely the most sweetest and precious baby in our family. He has five other siblings. They are named, Kina (sister), Sassy (sister), Bob (brother), Tabitha (sister), and Sylvester (brother). God Bless, John |

I promise to always take care of you, whether your home sick at grandma's Or just plain have the flu. In the form of a spirit or the sound of a song, by your side is where I belong. I just read your post about Seymour. I have a wonderful orange tabby named Seymour too! He is the light of my life. Your pictures of Seymour as a kitten and an adult cat are so cute! He looks like a really special guy. My previous cat, Pierre, who I had for 15 years, also had diabetes, and died of it after 2 years of giving him insulin shots twice a day. | Comments: | I had a large orange tabby named Nick. I was his principal feeder for 15 years. He died about a year after my other orange cat, Keoki, passed away at the age of 17.
My guys were relatively healthy most of their lives, and it was still devastating to lose them. I can't begin to understand how much grief you felt when Seymour was diagnosed so quickly with diabetes. I'm glad that you tested your other cats so quickly. I love cats and dogs equally, but I'm always amazed why some folks think that losing an animal isn't that much of a big deal. They are, indeed, members of our family. | Comments: | i feel your pain. my dad had a cat that recently died a few years back she ws 18. and now i have a black and orange female cat she had a litter of 5 kittens. 3 all black 1 black with orange spots and 1 orange tabby. the orange tabby kitten is the only male out of them. i have 2 cats + 5 kittens . my other cat is a orange tabby who looks just like your seymour. and he is currently 12 years old.hes like my son and i know if i ever lost him i wouldnt know what to do.so my heart goes out to you. and condolences to seymour mAY HE REST IN PEACE |

I was searching Google for images of beautiful orange tabby cats, because my fiance and I just adopted a baby orange tabby (Cooper) and his sister (Lilo). They are 7 weeks old today, and I can't imagine going through something like that. We took them to the vet and had all their tests run and thankfully, they are healthy. I hope to have many awesome years with Cooper and Lilo, as you did with Big Orange. :) |

| Comments: | I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. I too lost two of my beautiful angels last year and can fully empathize with the grief that you're feeling. I know that at times like these there is little can do or say to ease the sorry, but I hope that all your wonderful memories of Seymour will hope to bring you some comfort. In the end, he left a wonderful life where he experienced love and affection every single day, and that's more than most of us get in a lifetime.
