For the past 12 years, up to August 31, 2011 I alone, was Miss Zola Ann Fain's best friend, and caregiver, in my/our home. Diagnosed 16 years ago with progressive Multiple Sclerosis, the spirit horse came for her. Her father was a full blooded Cherokee native american, and her mother caucasian, as am I. My older brother told me about you before the New Year. He told me through his research in finding information about our ancestral back ground, he discoverd that yes, my family is Cherokee! Good I thought. It truly cleared things up for me. Now I too don't have to say I'm part cherokee lol. My brother told me my name is Gayde. Nice. I told my brother about the dreams I've had about a Indian and a blue wolf. It isn't clear to me about the messages he would give me, because every time I wake up I couldn'r remember it. But one day I walked into a botanica, and there he was. A Indian with a blue wolf. He wa holding a rifle; which I was uncomfortable with, because Indians didn't have rifles, he has 7 teeth, or bear claws I believe hanging around his neck, a blue and orange band around each upper arm, the blue design on the bands are shapes of tri-angles he has a braid hanging from each side of his head, he also has a wolfs head like a cap on his head and hanging from the wolfs head are 3 feathers on each side of the wolfs head, hanging from his right hip is a beautiful shield that is also blue and orange, down the middle of the shield is a painting with a beautiful golden sky, a half moon, and a orange sun. At the bottom of this drawing are brown mountains. Hanging from the middle of the shield are 6 feathers. On his left hip tie around his waist is a holster with a knife in it. He has hanging from around his shoulder a satchel. His stance is proud and he is looking up toward the sky. The Blue wolf is standing at the Indian's feet ; very close to him looking up as if calling to him. The wolf's mouth is open but not in an agressive stance. It's a very beautiful statue.This is the Indian I have seen in my dreams many times. I don't know what this symbolizes. About 4 years ago I went to a pow-wow with my twin sons. I danced in a tribal ceremony with the Indian women. I was also smudged by the Indian Chief. It was a very beautiful experience for me.
