Also check out www.creakers.co.uk maybe some Lingfields would like to join us. I am an Oxted Runner like several other Creakers, but Chaldonm Creakers is not a club just another friendly social run in the calendar. We meet every Wednesday 19.00 in the Caterham area, oftenc centred on pubs ...... ! Would you like me to stick a link on the creakers web site to Lingfield.... I can say something kind about you!

Comments:Had a great day out courtesy of Lingfield running Club. First 10 mile race ever for myself and enjoyed every minute. Great weather, great course, great organisation. Will be back next year to try and beat my time. Gongrats to all that took part and completed and to all the organisers, marshalls, cake makers that made the day such a success.

Comments:Just wanted to let you know that I really really enjoyed yesterdays Dry Hill 10 and thank you all at Lingfield Running Club for putting on such a great race in fantastic surroundings and with such good hospitality. I am sure this event will go from strength to strength!!
As we are only 40 minutes drive from you I am sure that a few more Orpington roadrunners will be up for the race next year! You would all be very welcome to try out our very own 10k race which is usually held on the third Sunday in June. It is mostly an off road trail race and usually attracts and entry of about 500 plus runners with plenty to do for families and has a 2k junior race and family run attached! We can be found at www.orprunners .co.uk

Comments:Ran the Dry Hill 10 yesterday and had an awful time, my legs died on me at an embarrassingly early point in the race and the rest was a horrendous struggle !. If it wasn't for the fantastic support from all the marshalls I would not have got round. Thanks to everybody involved, the whole organisation was superb,a great route and what about the cakes at the end !! I look forward to seeing you all again next year, hopefully with a fresh pair of legs...perhaps a bit of cake before the start may do the trick !
