wow, this site is going really well. I haven't checked up on this place in a while, but it looks like you're keeping up the new updates for fanfics. I have a question though. Are you ever going to write another multi chapter fanfic ever again? Like the Catcher in the Rye and Smells like Teen Spirit? Or even fanfics like paper lantern? Hi, I'm reading Smells Like Teen Spirit right now and I'm addicted. This is why: I'm an art major at my college, I've been playing lacrosse for years, our school color is yellow, and my number is 4. 8D! hey, so I was totally on a GW splurge, which never happens. And someone told me to read "Smells Like Teen Spirit," which I did. And I gotta say, it wasn't half bad. I mean, you look at most of this fandom, and the fics are mediocre, AT BEST. But this was alright :) and you've got stunning music taste, so keep it up. (Some things I would just tweak in it were some character psych and some of the Japanese :x but overall, sexellent, m'dear.)

Link Worshiper, I have been reading Smells Like Teen Spirit for what seems like years...(probably because it has been...) I read the first 30-some chapters back in the summer of 2004, but when school started, I just didn't have time. Then this summer, I got back into the gw fandom and decided that it had been so long, I needed to read it again from the beginning. Now, I have finally finished. And let me tell you, SLTS has to be one of my all-time favorite 1x2x1 fics!! Duo's personality and characterization is fantastic. It's just like I think Duo would be like...if he was real...and went to a high school in California...and was a punk. And Heero. I just love how you slowly unraveled his true character. He was such a cold asshole at the beginning, and by the end, he's such a sweet guy. I loved this story so much and enjoyed every minute I spent reading it. Keep up the wonderful writing!! Shinigami06

Jst ifnished reading "Smells Like Teen Spirit"..........it was BEAUTIFUL. I started reading it on ff.net and when they took it down i thought all hope was all lost and shit until you said you had a site. I LOVED the music. I LOVED the way it was written. YES!! *tackle glomp* I was prepared for a slightly miserable yet still happy ending to SLTS, so you can guess how freakin' happy I am that it was a happy-dappy-mildly-sappy ending! Alright! It took me forever to finish reading it (and rereading it because my brain was confused), and Duo playing lax made me fall over. I saw it coming 30 miles away, but still. ^_^ Ahh! But yeah. Sad thing is: 50% of the songs you had in SLTS, I had on my computer and I couldn't stop laughing whenever Winamp would play the song that a chapter was named after. *Sweatdrops* This is what happens when boredom strikes and the summer seems dull and endless. *Pulls hair* Anyway, I'm all happy and shit that I don't have to wonder how the story ends, but I'm still sad about Meilan. I was reading your 1=2 thing, and I have to say I agree with all of what you said. Which is kinda scary, considering I love to argue and all that jazz. But yeah. After checking up on your site after about five months, I nearly had a coronary attack (of the good sort) when I'd seen just how much new fiction (and updates of SLTS) you had. However, when I re-read the aforementioned fic, I noticed one especially trivial thing (during Duo's fantasy of encountering Heero after a surfing session) that I can't help but be completely anal about. Though I may not be a surfer myself, I've got quite a few surfing friends. An avid surfer would be more than willing to catch a good swell in the rain, in January, if they had a good wetsuit and the promise of a hot shower afterwords. The only thing that would deter a surfer from the rain would be the possible infections s/he would get from the run-off in major drains (esp. in Southern California), which could prevent various infections if s/he were to have an open cut. I'm not exactly sure where this is set, but considering you mentioned that it was a tourist spot in a beachy location, I'd imagine the same rules apply. And if Duo knew anything about anything, he wouldn't be surprised to see a few winter surfers schmoozing around. Beyond that, I've got to say I'm not one to enjoy reading crossovers of any which, way, or form, but the X-Men influence you have in SLTS is really nice. I also love the focus on lacrosse and your opinions about girls' lax. I most definitely do not enjoy prancing around in a skirt and cleats, or the fact that hustling is "illegal." The fact that the characters have weak points in their personalities also made me especially admire your writing --- there are way too many fics out there that make the main character(s) flawless. Your use of figurative language (esp. in Fantasy Impromptu) is great too, and I envy the seeming ease with which you write develop your characters. As for the music? Perfect. -Jeemin

Hi! Dannee here. I reviewed SLTS on ff.net a couple of times, though I don't suppose you woudl recognize the name considering you got so many reviews there. Stupid they're all gone now. Over 3000? Dang, that's a lot. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I just traveled right along to your homepage to read more. You know, a few chapters back, just after 45 I think, you seemed to be dragging a bit. I don't knwo how to explain it, but it just didn't flow like before that. Now you have it back. Thank goodness, I read quite a few stories by now the writers have given up on, even though it was good (not their best work, but still; not that I want to force anyone to write). Hope that's never the case with you. Keep it up!

First of all, you're site is nicely laid out, though it did take me a bit to figure out that I needed to scroll *down* in order to see the contents of the page (grins sheepishly at own stupidity). Other wise, I like the colour/non-colour scheme and the art used. Now what I really wanted to do was coment on SLTS. I'm going to use this as a repository for reviews, if that's alright? I hope so (crosses fingers). Any way, the latest chapter was a bit short, but pretty good. The conversation between Heero and Duo that carried the lyrics from "I Don't Sleep, I Dream," was a treat for me, as I'm a huge R.E.M. fan. I hope that you get inspired to write some more for this story, I know the whole mess with FF.N was a bummer. Well sadly you couldn't put SLTS on Adultfanfiction.net unless you added some more 'adult' content....its absolute bullshit to be taken off of ff.net as this story does NOT violate their TOS in any way, least of all for content...there are worse things than your 'sex scene' in a pg-13 movie, for christ's sake.....and no clause for implied intercourse is present anywhere in their guidelines. I'm betting some little loser reported you because they were jealous of your massive fanbase and obvious talent....had there truly been a discrepency in content the story would have been reported MUCH sooner, like...when the chapter came OUT! If I were you I'd contest it to all hell, I don't know the exact procedure on this but there must be a method for correct wrongful removal of stories. Period. grrrr.....Despite how pissy that f* site is, this story is still absolutely stunning and I'll follow it just as avidly as before. THat was a wonderful chapter and someday soon when I'm not busy I plan on rereading the whole massive epic up to this point to get reacquainted with any subplots I've nearly forgotten. And as always the biggest question on my mind - how is it Duo can remember Wing so clearly and yet not make that connection and WHY is Hee-chan not saying anything?! I'm sure this will be revealed in time but damnit, I'm a reader - I'm inherently impatient and demanding...its an unwritten rule! Thank you for your continued dedication to the fans and this piece....we appreciate your contributions to this fandom so very much and it is authors like you that mark this wonderful community indelibly with your work and keep it going strong - even years after the initial inspiration subsides.
