It is a pleasure to be part of Gary's unofficial Home Page. At work, everyone calls me BUSEY. I have taken photos and you know what, I could pass as Gary's Brother. I won Manager of the Quarter and they wanted a picture of me for the board. I work 16 hour days and I looked pretty tired, so I asked our HR Department to use this picture- the one of Gary with sunglasses and a cigar. I had everyone telling me, man you look just like that actor "Gary Busey." I was cool with that. Then there is the question????? Is Gary Crazy???? I tell them that he would not be where he is, if he was predictable. I feel his wave length and he is someone that is just going for it and not worrying about what people think. (Let it fly Gary). I saw your you new series with working out. I played football for 17 years and had a shot with the Detroit Lions, a couple months in the Gym with Gary and we could harden the slopes. As far as the show goes- Gary is halarious. Gary can bring comedy, drama, and mystery to the table and always make it happen. Gary is about due for new flick- I studied some film and Script wrting at the University of Johnny Utah. What do you think- Gary and I as brothers- one cop, one killer- Okay, you can be the bad guy. I use to think he was funny and liked to see him, but I was extremely disappointed in him for his choice to be in the movie "Tribulation." Do you know that the same people tried to brainwash my six year old daughter and terrorized her to where she had nightmares and is very possibly permanently damaged because of it. Her zealout father belongs to Hagie Minstries and that movie, along with the other ones, helped him to scare her. I have had to do a lot of damage control and I have only scratched the surface of it all and what these "holier than thou" idiots did to her including physical, mental and possibly sexual abuse.
I can't believe that he would actually encourage that. I served this nation to secure and protect the first amendment and have a gimp leg doing it and many of my friends have a neurological disorder as well. I hope that he appreciates the sacrifices other people have made so that people like that can abuse there "authority" and teach intolerance, hatred, and violence for any one or thing they either do not understand, or do not have themselves, or do not share in their belief systems. People like that have made me ashamed to be part of Christianity and that is sad because of the peaceful message it is suppose to bring to everyone. I do not believe that Jesus would have wanted that, but I am only guessing. Please, tell him I said thank you very much for helping those who would destroy and spread hatred, very much like Hitler and his people did. Tell him thank you for the damage he supported to my daughter by being in that movie. Tell him thank you for supporting religious intolerance, because there is nothing more disgusting than people fighting over differences in beliefs. While you are at it, ask him how he would feel if his son had to go through that. Even though I do not blame him personally, I do think that he has contributed to this elitist hatred that has resulted in many problems my daughter has and has also resulted in threats against my life by my ex-husband. Thanks a lot Gary, way to go. May you get what you have given. |

I have known Gary for over 40 years and I've known him to be a very caring person who has a heart of gold. He is crazy, spontaneous, outspoken, creative, energetic, intelligent, appreciative, sexy, fun and very giving. He was instrumental in the creation of the federal Traumatic Brain Injury Act. Gary is also witty and funny and has an incredible sense of humor. Plus, he has a lot of wisdom and he’s an awesome storyteller. He tells it like it is or as he sees it, which may or may not be the same. But the way he tells it...wow! Like no other. In the late 60s or early 70s, Gary appeared in a tv show in Tulsa called Mazeppa, that was televised live. The show became a cult favorite for local residents who would hold Mazeppa parties on Saturday nights. Gaylord Sartain and Gary would perform these zany, impromptu skits that, by today's standards, seem almost primitive, but are still hilarious. That's my 2 cents' worth. If, for whatever reason, someone wants to send me an email, be sure to put "Gary Busey" in the subject line so it won't be deleted upon receipt. |

A couple of days ago, I watched a Swedish produced program with a couple of guys that spend a few days with Mr. Busey at his home and in the nearby areas. I remember him from a few movies broadcasted here in Europe, but after watching this show I had to find out more about him on the net. In this show he seemed on the edge, and behaved like a human being i desperate need of seroius help. Saw him in person October 8, 2004, in Wichita, Kansas, at the Tallgrass Film Festival where "The Buddy Holly Story" was featured. | Comments: | I had known who the actor, Gary Busey, was for some time. However, I always found he was a very, very good actor. Then he sort of dropped out of sight. Later, I found out he had his share of obsticles and challenges to deal with. I thought he just got tired or burned out. (I know, what rock have I been under??) I did hear that he had a battle with an addiction, more or less winning it--good for him for being a survivor.
I have to tell you, it must, at times, stink living in a gold fish bowl but he seems to be pretty strong emotionally. I don't care how old this man is--he's still a major babe!! I guess he's in or pushing his 60s. He's got a great build on him too. When I told my son his age he couldn't believe it. It's hard to believe myself. The man looks good! My favorite role of his was in "The Firm". Too bad it was not a longer role but for the role it was, he sure played it big and made such an impression on many from it. He did a better acting job then Tom Cruise did, in my opinion. The other role I really liked him in was "Rookie of the Year" I believe it was. I liked him in that roll too. He was a baseball player. I wish he would have had more of a longer role in that movie. The movie could have been even more interesting. I saw his son in a movie last summer and I didn't know it was Gary's son. I said to myself, "GEEZ, that's got to be Gary Busey's son!!!" I waited for the credits and the actor had the same last name. Talk about a clone. He looks just like his daddy. He seems to be a talented actor like his father as well. I believe the movie was "Home Fries". My young son was watching a show on Comedy Central. So, I immeditately tell him to change it (I know, mom is a party pooper and a drag, and a dweeb, and "uncool", and blah blah blah...but so what.) My son is cracking up and begs me to just let him finish it and to watch it with him. I have to admit, I can be a stuff shirt at times, but I was laughing. I was a bit grossed out at the road kill part and the cow butt part in the one episode, but all in all, it was a bit different. Not boring. Good for Gary for trying something different. At least he's not a baby and it's safe to say he's open minded, a strong willed person, and he is who he is. Good for Gary for not being a cookie cutter drag. Because of the I'm With Busey show, it shows he's still around. GOOD! He's a bit 'out there', but at least he's not a stick in the mud. I'm in my early 30s and I think he's still very much feature film quality. He's a strong presence. He's got a lot of energy. |

Wow! This is one of the best websites that I have found that is dedicated to one of my new favorite actors, Gary Busey! You have done such a good job in creating it. I first discovered Gary when my son and I were watching the movie, "Lethal Weapon", which aired on television in the summer of last year---and which we just found by accident. I didn't know who he was until we saw a television series, "I'm With Busey", which aired soon after this movie was on which we also found by accident late one night last summer, E.T. I have been watching quite a few movies that Gary has been in during the past year---about 15 so far. Here are five that I liked best---The Buddy Holly Story (excellent), Barbarosa, Predator 2, Under Siege, and Rookie of The Year. I have also written movie reviews on some of his movies on the M.S.N. Entertainment Movie Review website on the Internet. I have come to like Gary Busey very much. I had also sent three Birthday cards to him on his (60th) birthday, which was on June 29, 1944, via his E-Mail address that is on his "OFFICIAL GARY BUSEY WEBSITE COMING SOON" cover web screen that also has a very nice picture of him on it. | Comments: | I saw Mr. Busey on Discovery Health Channel last night and I gained a newfound respect for him. He talked about the accident, overdose and surgery to remove cancer (if I'm not mistaken). Even after his accident and he was a strong opponent of wearing helmets, well, that turned me off. But after watching DHC last night and listening to him, I learned that now he's a strong proponent of helmets. Did he suffer any brain injury, permanent or temporary? I can only imagaine what his sister went through with him during recovery. My brother was attacked with a hammer and left for dead. After 2 years, he still has some brain damage. Also when I learned he rededicated his life, I really was amazed by his transformation. I haven't watched his new show on Comedy Central, but since I have a new found respect for him, everybody deserves a second and third and fourth chance. I got plenty second chances myself, all from jumping out of a perfectly good airplane at 14,500 ft.

| Comments: | I've been having unhealthy feelings about Gary Busey for the past three years. I don't know when it started, but I think it was after seeing him on Jay Leno. He came out in his trademark Hawaiin Shirt and looked like a dreamboat. My dream goes like this.......I'm walking around a beach completely naked, and I see Gary playing football with Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze. I don't even bother looking at those two, my eyes gravitate towards Busey's ass. He starts yelling at me for walking around naked and tells me that God will punish me, and he starts doing the move from the Karate Kid and starts kicking sand in my face. After he realizes that he is hurting me, he starts making love to me the only way Gary Busey could...Busey Style. Just trust me on that one people. I have to meet Gary Busey, it is my life's destiny. | Comments: | Hey Lisa, this site is unbelievable. I used to think that I was the only one around who respected Gary Busey. Well, I can see that I am dead wrong. Gary Busey and Chuck Norris are probably my two favorite actors ever. I just can't get enough of Walker, Texas Ranger reruns on cable, and I can't get enough of Gary in any of his movies or his cameo tv appearances. Anyway, I've been trying to write a screenplay so the two of them can be in a movie together, hopefully like a buddy cop movie where there might be a chance of some romantic involvement between the two. | Comments: | I have been holding it in a few days but I finally needed to vent my secret to the greatest fans on earth to the greatest actor on earth. I was greeted this New Year with a holiday card from the one and only Gary Busey himself with an invitation to a private screening of one of his first films he made called "The Law." Jud Hirsch and other cast members and the director will be on hand. It's in L.A., and I don't know if I should splurge for a ticket, but then it is again a once in a lifetime opportunity to hang out with the Businator. Help,I need feedback. Should I stay or should I go? I don't know the movie or have the mula in my pocket right now, but I know Busy, and I just might make this a 2003 to remember. Any suggestions would be prosperous. |

| Comments: | Hey Lisa, great website. I have a really weird story. I saw your dreambook and I read the story about the guy who met Gary in Alabama, and I saw that he had an iowa email address. One day I was walking to class and I dropped my Gary Busey pencil case on the ground,I was about to cry because dirt got on the pencil case and Gary Busey looked like he had a mustache and it made him look like he was un-Gary-Busey-like, so I sat down and started thinking of my favorite scenes of Lethal Weapon and Drop Zone, and I started to get over it. When I started walking again, I saw this man walking past me, and I felt a funny vibe from him, so I just shouted "do you like Busey" and he said "about as much as Busey loves crack" and guess what, it turned out to be Nick. He took me up to his room and showed me a napkin from the waffle house that Gary Busey used. It was so awesome. I just knew that once I saw Nick that he had to be the guy from this website. It was so weird. I think that Gary Busey might be god. Well, that is my "testimonial" Keep up the good work Lisa, you're da bomb. |

Have only seen Gary Busey in four films I can remember off the top of my head (Lethal Weapon, Big Wednesday, Point Break and The Firm - no particular order), but he stands out in each one. A great actor, and I will try to make a point of seeing more of his movies in future. I think he would be a good choice to play Felix Leiter if the character ever reappears in a Bond film. |

I got to meet him everytime he was working out there and I went to visit. He even gave me the Hawaiian shirt he wore in "Silver Bullet"(my all time favorite Busey Movie). I have it hangig on my wall right next to an autographed picture of him. I still hear from him every now and then. He sends me emails about twice a year. What a guy. |

| Comments: | I know that some of you may think that I jumped on the Gary Busey bandwagon a little late, especially since I only started admiring his work since Point Break. But I tell you what, he is a fine actor and much more than that, he's a terrific person. I was in Huntsville, Alabama visiting my great-great-stepfather-in-law, when my car blew a flat. I was wandering down HWY 43 for about a half hour when all of the sudden, this guy on a motorcycle tells me to hop on. I did not realize it was him until we stopped at a waffle House and he took his helmet and goggles off. I was in awe. He was like my knight in shining armor. We went into the Waffle House and he bought me some grits and he bought himself some grits and waffles, and guess what he put on his waffles?? Maple Syrup. That is sooo Gary Busey. Anyway, we ended up eating lunch, and dinner there, and we had pancakes for lunch, then decided to go back to waffles for dinner. I totally forgot that I left my wallett back at the car, but it really didn't matter. After all, I was with The Busey. He paid for my three meals, and I felt bad, because I got three large chocolate milks, and he was just drinking water. After that, he took off, shook my hand, kissed the waitress, and grabbed some bacon off this truckers plate as he walked out and rode off into the sunset. I love Gary Busey! |
