I am angry with people who like throwing slander at Sylv just because they don't understand what she is talking about, or find it hard to accept. I was angry because I was trying to help some people there at queenzone who were upset by a girl Letitia - who said Freddie, being a "ghost", can't possibly hear you - and they (other people) immediately snapped at ME, calling the stuff bullshit and the like. As for some of the more recent comments in her guestbook - she doesn't have to pay any attention to those stupid accusations and fill up her Q & A page with excuses - the book, all her books are meant to help us, it doesn't matter what we think, if we put it to some GOOD use - from what I've seen, that exactly what they are NOT doing! Jesus - yes indeed, very complex - but you should have been happy goddammit! there, I've said it and I apologise for a very personal issue: having seen lots and lots of Fan Art featuring Freddie in the Stars, Winged Freddie and so on and so forth, it occurred to me it was a Wish - the Wish for him to be as "important" up there as he was down here --is that what you are having problems with???? As for sects: please, this is the ONE thing to save us from sects - Freddie said "It's not like we're leading them as sheep, they're creating the situation as much as we are" - wherever have you seen a sect that will ask you to USE YOUR OWN LOGIC, instead of manipulating you??? Sylv's book is an innuendo to all of us, a way to introduce the idea of her and Freddie being soulmates. I just can't understand why two people, two soulmates, living in the same country, speaking the same language, having met each other... why did they then live their lives apart one from the other??????. During Freddie's life Sylv didn't remain as a girl of 11, she could have joined him years after. Your sometimes violent reactions show but 3 main things: 1) you can't handle initiation - you can't put 2 and 2 together and you don't allow yourself to be transformed by it; 2) you don't hold respect as being important when dealing with anyone on the Web; 3) you're pissed off merely because your illusion of Freddie was shattered, and you got the Real Freddie, as in unreachable where True Love is concerned. So you say no one should have this honour. You totally disregard his beliefs, and this makes me wonder - why are you still Queen fans? Maybe you seek answers like the rest of us, but you shoot the messenger. I suggest you take a good look at the UNIVERSE (Tarot Card) and see why I would hate to be in your shoes = those who add to her grief. Just because someone has had a bad childhood, doesn't mean that they need a doctor - shouldn't it be the parents that need a head-doctor, not the victim? The Ghost Angle, is already covered in the book, and is not in question. And where Freddie and other pop stars are concerned, if you had of bothered to investigate this further, you would have found out, that then in the 70's, a lot of singers were getting into trouble, because they were having sex with what they called "Groupies" (Fans). But however, in the case of this girl (who would have been around 11), she was a bystander who he took a fancy to. As for who the singer was, this is not clearly stated in the book, for obvious reasons I guess. Apparently, this singer tracked her down several times, and this only stopped, due to her disappearance. Perhaps for proof, we should seek to investigate the proof that Freddie himself left behind. For instance, that video that the girl was in - keeping in mind, the way Freddie reacts to her presence - the way in which he gets aroused by her, swears at her, even at one point, seems to be crying because of her. If the singer that had sex with the girl was really Freddie, then I would suggest that from Freddie's point of view, that there is a lot more to this than just mere sex, or even obsession... | : | I'm glad to see that the book is inspiring people to spend some time thinking and communicating about those parts of our lives we often ignore in this ever more complex and fast paced world. If the book does nothing other than act as a catalyst to make us aware of the connectednes of the world as a whole,it has indeed done us all a great service. People often feel (even though they may deny it) that there is an empty space somewhere in the back corners of their minds and hearts that they cannot seem to fill - a place some may be uncomfortable looking at. In the long run, Sylv simply asks us to look into those spaces (as she herself has done) and find the connectedness that gives us hope and the "safe place" we all desire. Just remember that each person's safe place is uniquely his own. The connectedness just assists you in finding it. Sylv show you her journey along the road to her "safe place" in a bid not only to show you that you are not alone, but to let you know anyone can make the journey. We are all the same and we are each one unique. To use some of Queen's own words - "It's A Kind Of Magic" and you can have that so called magic if you "Believe In Yourself." Perhaps, in the end, she will have encouraged you to access the very core of yourself - the spiritual self. That what she does best, and that is her purpose in life as I see it. To touch another's life is as much a miracle for the one who touches as it is for the one who is touched. |

| : | It's interesting to see that recently there seem to be more postings from people who are more "in tune" with Innuendoes even if they don't agree with everything they perceive it to be saying. I have read the book and I'm not sure that I agree with everything in it but it has several important messages (about using reason, the limits of conventional religion, the true nature of love)and it is a shame if people miss out on these messages simply because they don't agree with the author's interpretation of a given song. I also feel (I don't know whether anyone out there agrees with me) that this book gives a truer and more complete depiction of Freddie Mercury than any other book that I've read. |

| : | When I was a little girl aged twelve I also dreamed about having sex with F. I made him my dream-lover and would slip into the world of my imagination whenever I needed the feeling of intensive love and care. It was something to hold on to and a perfect substitute for love, simply because it was the first time I was discovering my own sexuality and not yet able and way too young to grasp it and live it in a real relationship with a boy. I really believed that I loved F. at that time. I would cry myself into sleep of him being dead and was a true FANatic. And I'm glad about this time of deep compassion. It was purely myself who I was trying to find, and I surely did. The trades that I would give F. in my illusions are simply the trades I'm looking for in a man and in people in general. And I have led a surprisingly extremely successful relationship with a wonderful man that inherites all these trades. Now I can say that when I was twelve and using the figure of F. in my dreams I was laying the foundation for leading a successful relationship today. It's ourselves that we're seeking in dreams and if we realize this we find a powerful tool for success in life!

I'm defending a group of people that might actually have telepathic trades. I don't intend to comment the "Lily" story. I fear that only the author knows what to think of it.
I also want to add that inheriting a "paranormal" trade is holy, and it must not be sold anyhow in the first place. And only those who can relate will understand. Therefore it's an unnecessary and silly task to sell a book like this. Unless it's only meant as a metaphor and nothing more. |

| : | I have always had significant coincidents in my life being strangely "connected" with other people (that's how I got to know my now husband) through telepathic abilities since I was a little child. I'm not mentally disturbed or sick in any way and reject the idea of putting these phenomena entirely into the "crazy" corner. There may be many people who claim having certain abilities and don't pertain any of these, but some are for real. Only my closest friends know about my thoughts on this, but I don't even care if they care. I know that there are only few people out there that understand where I'm coming from. | : | JUST BECOMING FAMILIAR WITH QUEEN'S MUSIC.WILL EVENTUALLY OWN THEIR ENTIRE COLLECTION.I'M REALLY INTO PROGRESSIVE ROCK(MAINLY,KANSAS)AND I'VE HEARD KANSAS OPENED FOR QUEEN BEFORE KANSAS MADE IT BIG.I HEARD THIS ON A RADIO INTERVIEW WITH STEVE WALSH AND PHIL EHART OF KANSAS IN FEB. 2000.THEY MENTIONED HOW THEY WOULD STICK AROUND AFTER THEIR SET AND WATCH QUEEN AND ESPECIALLY FREDDIE AND LEARN ALL ABOUT HOW TO PUT ON A SHOW.I THINK FREDDIE MERCURY,BESIDE HAVING A GREAT VOICE,REALLY PIONEERED A NEW WAY FOR A VOCALIST TO NOT ONLY SING WITH GREAT PASSION ,BUT TO SHOW THAT PASSION IN THEIR FACIAL EXPRESSIONS AND BODY LANGUAGE.HE WAS VERY THEATRICAL AND ANIMATED AND PLAYED A ROLE AS AN ACTOR WOULD IN EACH INDIVIDUAL SONG.WHAT AN INFLUENCE HE WAS,TO ALOT OF VOCALISTS.IT'S GOING TO BE A PLEASURE TO EXPERIENCE THE REST OF THEIR MUSIC-I CAN'T BELIEVE I WAITED THIS LONG TO DISCOVER THEM.RADIO REALLY DOESN'T DO A BAND JUSTICE. |

| : | Just to say that I love Freddie Mercury, even though I never met him, I feel I know something about him just from reading the books on him and seeing him perform, his body language and personality always shines through. He was magnificent!! there will never be another like him. He seemed to be a very sensitive person. As for the other comment someone made about him being "ugly".. YOU are UGLY!!! Freddie was a very very handsome man!!! Maybe beacuse of his teeth protruding you said that, but, I think even with his protruding teeth he was handsome and adorable, and that alone set him apart from all the rest of the so called normal looking people. I'm pretty sure whoever said he was ugly, IS BUTT UGLY, and especially so just for saying that. However he may have looked physically he well than made up for talent wise!! Get a life Idiot!!!! |

| : | I'd like to fry the writer of the innuendoes book. I think she is crazy. I was disappointed when I read the book. It makes absolutely no sense what she says. I think it was done for money only. I am and will alway be a true Freddie Mercury fan, and I hope to see him whenever I succumb to this dreaded disease I have. I think he was just an ordinary man like everyone else, and that stuff in the book about "lily" etc is hog wash. I will tell everyone I know to not waste their money on this crazy full of nonsense book. Did the writer even MEET the man? I doubt it very much. who could spend so much time writing the same crap over and over. It's an insult to Freddie, she should be ashamed of herself. I'm definitely ashamed that I spent my money on it!! |
