Why has the Sci-Fi cnannel run Odyssey 5 for 4 Friday
nites and then on Nov/9/2007 drop it and replace it with
that lame Bionic woman ans 2 Atlantis episodes - one being
from previous week, and the 10PM EST slot being a new
one. Someone at your station programming needs to be
fired - plus I have also contacted the FCC along with many
other Sci -Fi viewers and they have signed my class action
complaint. Plus Battlestar Gallatica is not even what I
consider a real Sci-Fi - it is nothing but a high tech war
with sex and lust and greed and you folks are streaming
this to children. a real sci fi was like Star Trek the
series where lasers were not the sole purpose of the film -
the series was to espand the human interest and inspire
kids to get into science; so said an astronaut that when
intervieweed said watching Star Trek as a kid encouaged
him to get into NASA. Plus, how maqny folks around the
world even said they enjoyed the series Star Trek and
these were folks that has Nobel prozes for science and had
changed the world for humanity. They were not interested
in shootenups and sex and lust like many other kids that
work at fast food places to date.

Really blowing away with "Odyssey 5",
made in 2000, but looks timeless inaf for me.
Almost desperet to wanna see more after the
clifhanger of episode 20,
something that ain't posible.

This is an excellent series. I had never heard of it before
I bought the DVD collection. I read the back and it sounded
like an interesting story line. I sat down and watched it
(into the wee hours of the morning) and was madened when it
just ended out of nowhere. MR. COTO RETURN THE SERIES ON
AIR (except this time put it on NETWORK TELEVISION so
people know to watch it)! |

Some needs to give that Manny Coto a slap, providing
thousands of viewers with one of the most well acted sci-fi
series's I've seen in a long time, far out doing star trek
in all aspects of thrill and entertainment. I've just
watched the last episode of series 1 and can't wait to see
something on the second. Having searched the web for news,
well, why am I surprised, Paramount shouts and everyone
jumps on board. And where is manny now, sat drinking coffee,
chewing on some bicuits or just getting butt rot While the
rest of us are supposed to sit and wait for some good news,
well pass on the post to Manny for me and let him reply. I'd
think the others in the case would like the chance to
continue the work, there is reward, stargate proves it. This
story has the capacity to grow as long at it has an ending
and a good one. So come on Manny, you should be rich enough
to get things completed. |

I Just felt compelled to say that, i've just seen episode

the best series i have ever seen. I would love to see more,

Odyssey 5 was a superB show. It was cancelled for the
wrong reasons. Odyssey 5 had everything: great acting and
writing, great actors and special effects, and many more
great things. Bring back Odyssey 5, maybe in a miniseries,
to wrap up the cliffhanger things? I know many people

pilot), but on the opening page you say Showtime showed 16
originally with another 6 only broadcast later. That

Great site! Nice to see that some of the ppl involved in
the show have found their way to this place as well. I
guess there is little hope for the show to come back in a
televized form, but maybe if the writers for the show would
put their ideas about how this show should've turned out
onto paper, I'd be interested in buying that book!
Anyway, loved the show, one of the best (semi-hard) sci-fi
series I've ever seen...!

I loved this show its a shame that it was cancelled as
usual Blowtime makes the wrong decision and they lose a
top rated show and replace it with crap like Huff or Fat

Hi @ll,
after watching the "complete" bunch of episodes of o5, I
feel the same way than many other viewers here.
I couln´t stop viewing ´till I had to find out, that the
series leave me alone at the end .... not knowing what
will happen to the brave crew :-(
It´s hard to believe, that a network is not willing or not
interested in continueing such an amazing series - or did
they produce more episodes in the meantime????
