She has an amazing comedic timing and her ability to weave the episodes into one gorgeous tale will bring back wonderful memories of the most beautiful love story in startrek history. FYI, the following is barbara's homepage URL, the stories are much easier to find there. Enjoy! http://home.att.net/~samzmom/BWhome.html |

| your review: | I'm absolutely new to fanfics but have been a P/Ter for the longest time. Within the past few weeks, I've read at least 100 stories and this is by far one of the best. The author had used the element of humor in the best possible way and you feel endeared to the characters. What a great way to spend a lazy, rainy Saturday afternoon. |

| your review: | I haven't been on the p/t site in quite awhile (over 6 months I believe), I've been so busy lately! But, I stopped by last night and ended up spending an hour reading Primal Imperative. It was wonderful! It brought back all those shelved p/t feelings, all of the excitement of their incredible relationship, the feeling of something new to look forward to, etc! It blew me away. The story was believable, the characterizations true to the show, and the 'descriptives' really did it for me. I've saved the story to my harddrive and have just finished reading it for the second time. I wanted to thank the writers for giving me back the love, the excitement, the fulfillment of the Paris & Torres relationship!! |

I can NOT believe that I have been an avid P/Ter since before Swarm and I am just now finding out about this series??? LOL I LOVED IT!!! The stories are so well written and the Barb captures the characters so well. You will laugh, cry, get upset (especially when you get to the last one that she's written so far! you'll be thinking, huh? I WANT MORE!). I highly recommend this series. If you got some time to kill or even if you don't. If you love P/T then you owe it to yourself to read this series. I can't wait for the next installment. How didn't I know about this??? |

Tom is captain trying to keep a badly damaged Voyager flying. The story was riviting, unique, and very well done. A great piece of fiction. |

| your review: | This series of stories is simply great. It's interesting, and best of all, LONG. If you combine all 6 .txt files, the size is a whopping 1.44 megs. Makes for hours of reading pleasure. Great characters, intriguing situations, love, romance, jealousy, sadness, this series has it all. Also, it's nice to see Harry getting closer to someone other than Seven of Nine. I've frankly had enough of the k/7 fanfic phenomenon. I'd much rather see harry with the girl from these stories. I don't want to give anything away, so all I'm saying is go and download there NOW. You won't regret it. The only reason I'm giving this series a 9 instead of 10 is because there is no sequel, no continuation, no other stories with the same characters. I'm taking off 1 point because it's a huge dissapontment. I'd LOVE to see more. /me sighs heavy-heartedly Let's just hope that the author keeps on writing! |

| your review: | When I started reading this story I thought it was a 2 parter. I can't wait for part 3, hope Malcolm writes it soon. I think that he has the Paris/Torres relationship to a T and not too slushy! It is how I imagine them behaving and thinking. Without giving too much of the story away, Voyager meets up with the "other" caretaker and she definitely double deals them. The plot is believable within the Voyager universe, with a twist, it is easy to read, not too much technobabble and each character gets a reasonable share of the "action". I have read his other stories too and they are equally enjoyable. |

| your review: | I was going through the s-z section of the archive, and i suddenly came upon this story. i didn't really know if i'd like itat first, since it wasn't entirely concentrated on p/t. But by the time i finished it, i thought it was one of the best fanfic i've ever read! it was a dramatic, epic tale of the first romance between a klingon and a human (being read as a story by Paris)-in this case, M'Leyva, a fiery klingon commander, and Jake Colman, a headstrong human starfleet officer. They get stranded on a planet, and i'll leave out the rest...i really liked the "romeo and juliet" like parts to the story- (like the fact that m'leyva and jake can't be together because at their time in the past, the federation and the klingon empire are "sworn enemies." ) and also the parallels to p/t. Great Read! |

| your review: | I found this site and this story a couple of months ago. I was just picking stories at random, on a very bad day, and this story had me laughing hysterically within minutes. I could just SEE the situation playing out exactly as written. The plot revolves around the simple (complicated, LOL)process of creating a birthday gift for Naomi Wildman. It is an ensemble piece that I think everyone will enjoy. I thought the characterizations were perfect. The dialogue was witty, sharp, and fun. In fact, I found this story so amusing I couldn't stop talking about how much fun I was having to a person who had no clue what I was talking about because she doesn't watch Voyager. So, if you're looking for something fun I highly recommend "A Play For Naomi." |

| your review: | This story is a wonderful christmas story. It has a striking resemblance to Jeri Taylor's "Pathways", you will love this. In this story; which is set during the holidays, Tom Paris creates a holo-cabin from his childhood for a senior staff holiday get-together. Tom tells the storry of his childhood christmas' and that leads on to everyone (minus the Doc, Seven, and Neelix) telling childhood christmas stories. A must-read for any "snuggle up with a nice book" kind of readers. The detail and plot is great and Julie did a wonderful job on this story. Hey, I liked it enough to write a long review, so it must be good, right? Go take a peek at it. |

| your review: | I highly recommend this series of stories to anyone who is interested in P/T. DangerMom weaves an assured tale of love and duty in the DQ, which is based on cannon but smoothly moves in and out of her own Alternative Universe. The stories are warm, touching, sometimes funny and not without some seriously sexy moments too. Tom, B'Elanna, Janeway, Chakotay and the rest of the crew are all portrayed with a depth of understanding that makes you know that the author loves all of these characters. Start the journey with "Turn Around," which takes us through the early years on Voyager and follow Paris and Torres' journey from there to "In to the Woods," and beyond. This is definitely one of the most satisfying fan fiction serials I've ever read. |

| your review: | While normally I have mucho de problems with fiction that includes 20th century pop music embedded in the story, the charm, wit, and grace of this piece set after "the '37s" cannot be denied. Set in the same universe as Macedon and Peg Robinson's "Talking Stick/Circle" series, it's told from B'Elanna's point of view as she and Tom work to restore the truck found floating in space. It's a lovely story about learning more about one another and fleshes out all the characters nicely. It's an especially interesting read after "Alice" which of course aired several years after the story was written. |

| your review: | "Manipulation" puts a fascinating spin on "Someone to Watch Over Me" (not to mention giving a unique- -and completely in character--explanation of Tom Paris' apparent carelessness in his treatment of Seven and the Doctor) that gives the often trite "Pygmalion" plot a new angle--and makes Tom more than just a plot device. Jenn's dialogue and characterisations are spot on, she's not afraid to explore the less-than-likable, petty sides of the characters we love. The story shows Paris and Torres in a beliveable, realistic light, rather than white-washing or ignoring their faults, and the author shows both characters learning from their mistakes as well, without being preachy or too pat. A tight, well-crafted, and wonderfully scripted companion piece to the episode, and well worth checking out. |

| your review: | When I first trekked in Voyager fandom, I found myself curious about the Paris/Torres relationship and went searching for information about it. I think I'm one of the first P/T fans to become a fan from reading fanfic than from watching the show! The Cracks in the Wall Series is a wonderful way to learn about fanfic, Voyager and Paris/Torres. These were the first stories I read and I was immediately taken with them. My advice--print them out, curl up with a favorite blanket and some popcorn and make an afternoon of it. These are romantic comedies on-par with some of my favorite films: you know the outcome ahead of time, but getting there is half the fun! The stories flow as a cohesive whole--no small feat for a round robin. The character's voices sound authentic and the plots are fun and fascinating. My favorites are "Clear as Mud" and its follow-up "Test of Faith." "Test of Faith" takes a multitude of tried and true cliches and puts an endearing Paris/Torres spin on them. I think what I appreciated was the underlying wit in the stories--I never felt like they took themselves too seriously. For newbies to fanfic, I can't think of a better way to be initiated into this fun aspect of Voyager fandom than to indulge in this favorite series of stories. |
