I have been writing for a few years I did a little on our school newspaper in Elementary School and I am writing for my High School newspaper. I dont have any fanfiction out because I tend to come up with another plot in the middle of one and continue to change it constently. *grin* However I have bataread before a couple of times for friends and some ppl I meet online. I dont really like the B/R shipping because Riley kinnda gets on my nerves, but I will be happy to read it and help you edit the fic. B/S parings are my favorite so I like to sepcialize in those areas that and S/D. Generly any fiction is welcome though!!! |

If you still need Betas to get the Guild requirement, I'd be happy to assist. I guess my beta-ing strengths would be general content/flow. I've never officially "beta'd" before, meaning I've never given myself the beta-reader title, but I run two different fanfiction sites (one Angel and one Dawson's Creek) and am always asked to proof read and give opinions as the stories are written and before they get posted. I also have over 35 diverse fanfiction stories under my belt (not all finished but hey, they're getting there) and have always gotten great feedback from my own readers. |

I prefer to beta unconventional pairings, ie Cordelia/Angel, Cordelia/Spike. Personally, I'm a C/A 'shipper, but I don't object to other pairing, or general Cordy fics. I do have spelling and grammar down to a fine art, but would appreciate it if stories submitted to be beta-ed are not too apalling on these counts, as it is very time consuming to practically rewrite a story. However, I'm happy to beta at any level, and am a fairly experienced beta and writer. As a postscript, I have a fairly detailed knowledge of slavic folklore (includes the original origins of vampires etc and their traditional mythos). I'm British, so good on fics involving Spike, Dru, Wesley, Giles, etc; I've also been told I write Cordelia well. |
