| Comments: | I am a descendent of Mary Roupe, sister to Hester. I have some old letters written between the sisters. I am curious about what happened to Earnest Albert John who I think was Hester's first child. Apparently he was raised by his grandfather Peter Roupe. According to the letters he may have eventually used the Roupe name as his surname.
Also do you or anyone have any pictures of Mary. She died at 36 years of age and I have been unable to find any pictures of her. |

You listed the students, but said it wasn't on the back of the photo, how do you know which students are in the pic? I would LOVEEE to surprise him with a copy of the photo. | Comments: | My father led me to your website! My great-grandmother was Pearl Deason!!!! Her son, Kenneth Schaper, is my grandfather. (he passed away in 1976). Your website has given me tremendous insight into my family's history and I can't thank you enough.
I never met Pearl, as she moved West (California, I believe) when she married Roma Hyde. But she used to make beautiful afghans and I have a couple that she sent me many years ago. It is very interesting that her father was a talented basket-maker. Pearl must have inherited her artistic talent from him. Thank you so much for putting this information out there!
