| Comments: | So, as I think the most important thing is that we're looking for the same thing in our penpals, I thought that I should start off with telling you my point of view (and then move on to telling you some facts about myself as I find it to be an easy way to start off a conversation :)
*****************************************************' So, what i'm looking for in a penpal?! well.. The first thing I want to put down is that I wany my penpals to feel drained after writing me a letter. I want you to feel that you've told me everything there is to tell at the moment. And if my penpals do that (while making the letter feel like a conversation), then I'm happy! :D Speaking of me wanting my penpal's letters to be like a conversation: I hate it when my penpals write me a letter and then stuff all their questions and answers to my questions in the end of the letter. As I see it, to get as close to a real converstaion as possible, you should try to put them in in the middle of their letter/while you're talking about this subject. That might come off as a wierd "request", but there's just so many out there who does this... The last page if full of answers and questions.. and that just doesn't feel like a conversation (so yes, the "conversation feeling" is probably the second most important thing to me!). Anyway. if I should write down some other things... hmm.. FEMALES around my age (give or take a few years). I want penpals who'll write medium/ long letters (like 5-10 A5 pages or more), who will write me more than four times a year and since I am very serious about this and I concider my penpals to be real friends, I only want penpals who feel the same as I about this (I prefer people who have been writing letters for some years now since they often know what they want from a penpal and know that you have to give it your all to keep your friendship going). *************************************************** Are you still with me?! Good! Then i'm going to tell you some basic facts about myself :) I'm 26 years old and I'm in a relationship. And... hm.. Blah. I always find this to be really hard. So therefor I just decided to write down some random facts about myself: ✖ I'm not much of a dog person. Not that I don't like them (I like almost all animals -except for spiders and snakes) but I just think that they are to big. I prefer having independent pets like cats. ✖ I've always wanted to learn spanish. ✖ I really hate the smell of smoke and I don't like my next door neighbour who smokes inside his apartment even though he has a balcony (and when he doesn't go out on his balcony the smell sometimes pays me a visit as well. argh!! and with that said: I just can't understand people who smoke inside their apartment/house because the whole place will smell like that for forever and ever! blah.) ✖ I dream about winning A LOT of money (those who claim that you don't become happier if you have a lot of money are so wrong. If you have tons of money, then you don't have to worry about the bills and you can live your life as you want to =no worries= you become happier. HA!) ✖ I try not to, but I sometimes judge people by the cover (and those who say that they don't are just lying to them selves just because this is a horrible thing to say out loud). ✖ I have such a bad memory- you've been warned!! (so now you can't hold that against me when I happen to forget some things that you've told me :p) ✖ I don't drink coffee (if I haven't started drinking it yet, why start now?) and I'm not one of those who like going to over prized cafes when you can have a cup of tee and a sandwich almost for free at home (yeah, maybe I am be a bit stingy, but I prefer to see myself as economic. hehe) ✖ I hate pink and really girlie things, but at the same time I can be such a girl sometimes. ✖ Growing up I always wanted a longer name, and I also wanted a twin sister (but as you all know it's hard to get a twin sister after being born ;) ✖ I'm not dumb, but the thing is that I've never done my best in school and therefor never got the grades I needed/wanted (I was happy if I just passed and I've always been one of those who took the easy way out). ✖ Some of my hobbies/interests: playing with my daughter, reading, going for walks, shopping, watch a good movie, baking, having a few drinks at the pub (not every weekend!), cooking, concerts e.c.t. ************************************** If I managed to catch your attention and you're thinking about writing me... I am a mother, work full-time outside the home as well, and try to persue my beloved pastimes in the precious minutes left! It is pouring outside and at this part of the world winter is approaching fast. I can already tell you that I am not particualary looking forward to it, but hey what can you do? I am much more a summer and spring person and love to feel the wamth of the sun on my skin. Maybe that has something to do with how winters in Belgium really are, they are grey, wet, miserable and depressing. The only thing I like about it are the long sunday afternoons when you have time to read a book surrounded by candles or when you can bake waffles, cookies or cake. On crisp winter days I like to go on long walks so I can think and ponder and think again. Yes you got it right I think quite a lot and I analyse situations and think oh I should have said or done that instead of,... Don't we all do that? I somehow feel that summer has passed me by this year, it must have been warm but I cannot recall any of it. I do think that work is to blame for that, I worked all summer and am on my annual holiday now. Work always is mad during the summer months so that is why I was required to work during july and august. So could I please have another summer instead of winter without having to move to the other side of the world? Or is that too much to ask? Anyway maybe it is about time to tell you what I am looking for in a pal. I have been pen-palling for quite a long time, over 11 years. And over the years, as well all have experienced, I have been through some wonderful and less wonderful experiences. That's only normal because you cannot get along with everyone. But please if you do not like me or do not like my letters, just say so instead of dissapearing in thin air. I promise that I won't be mad or won't blame you for it. As everyone of us is, I am looking for people I truly click with, with whom I can share part of my life. Long, dedicated, regular letter writers. I really like fashion, accessories, jewellry, cosmetics etc. I am intrested in cuts and fabrics and like to learn new techniques for applying makeup. It's a hobby nothing more, my work is not related to lifestyle. - Learning, exploring and discovering. I went to uni for 7 years and have two degrees (social work and communication) and I would go back in a heartbeat if I could. I like people whom are open to new experiences and to places and people they have never been to or seen before. My plan is to discover Belgium a bit more. Isn't it sad that we tend to go on holidays abroad but do not really know our own country, well I am trying to change that. - My cat. What can I say she is my treasure. And apart from the above I also like, chocolate, animals in general, my friends, my pals, stationary, fountain and gel pens, knitting, beads, swapping small stuff, having time off work, sleeping in, picking strawberries straight from the garden and eating them, Eastern European countries + Russia, listening to music, reading magazines, going to Paris for one day, ... I am a real bookworm (I'm especially into thrillers, crime and history novels and travel reports) and I love going to the movies, taking photos, music, scrapbooking, cooking & baking, shopping, travelling as often as I can and of course penpalling. I am not a party-girl, but prefer a to spend the night on the couch with a good self-made meal and a DVD. I love the sea, going for walks, polar bears, pasta, old monumental movies and sunflowers. I have been penpalling for most of my life and several of my penpals have become very close friends. I love to exchange long and chatty personal letters, talking about hopes, worries, dreams, books, movies, girls-stuff and every-day stuff. It would be great if you could tell me more about your country and culture as well. I am looking especially for other moms out there to exchange and share experiences, but that's not a must. In my opinion a long letter is more that 3 pages long....hope I am not offending anyone here. I both type and handwrite my letters, mainly handwrite thought, but I do not mind getting a typed letter in return as long as it is personal. I write regularly, however sometimes things get in the way and it might take a bit longer to get back to you, that doesn't mean you have to wait months for an answer though. I have lots of different hobbies.I love spending time with my family, going swimming and go to the cinema. I love to read and write. I love history and anything to do with history so love to visit museums, reenactments, castles and other historic buildings. I am also a huge Shakespeare fan and love to go and watch his plays at the theatre, but also like to watch football...a strange mix!! During my teen years I was avidly into penpalling (the longer letter, the better...) but have found over the years that too many friends have come and gone and am missing the bond of snail mail.
I'll be direct in saying that I'm only interested in long letter ladies - no men - around my age. I don't care if you are married or single, have kids or not (as long as you have interests outside the home). I prefer North America or U.K. please. A bit about me: I live with 2 dogs,, a cat, a rabbit and a not so furry husband. I'm 38 years old, married and work full time and am seeking just a couple of penpals who have similar interests, viewpoints or values. Although I am married, I have no children but work with them so I get to enjoy them during the day and then send them home in the evening! LOL! I like my "me" time for sure. I don't mind writing to ladies with children but am looking to write to those who have a life outside of the home too as it will give us more to chat about. I tend to talk quite a bit about my work so if that offends you or doesn't interest you, I'm not the penfriend for you. My career is my passion in life so to speak. I type my letters but they are all personalized - I love to answer and ask questions of penfriends -- my letters are more of a dialogue than a monologue for sure. I hate one sided letters and definitely love the exchange of thoughts, ideas and viewpoints. That's what makes writing fun to me! My letters tend to be 8-12 pages typed :) Oh yes I'm very honest and open and am not offended easily. My ultimate joy is reading the paper on Saturday morning with a good cup of coffee. Fascinated with life - deeply in love with my family - my hubby and adorable kids, devoted to my job, curious about people around me, and on the other side of the globe - intrigued by other life styles, beliefs, ideas, thoughts than my own...growing by learning, relaxing by reading - absolutely mad about books, singing, cooking, gardening, thriving on debating and discussing, enjoying art, museums, day trips, the sounds of the waves, and the smell of the forrest. Despite of all this pretty earthbound, but with a spiritual side :). Having no special requests on the length/write-time of the letter (as long as it is not only 10 lines on a DinA5 page ;) - but I dont expect 8 pages every week ;)) if its handwritten or typed, used with stationary,stickers or the like. I like to leave this on one's own decision, can also understand (also from my own experience) that it may not be possible to provide these things. Only requests I wish to have is a letter-writing like a real friendship, sharing each others life, based on mutual respect for each others life and different cultures/religions etc, writing the letters like a dialogue (asking and answering questions, writing comments on each others letter) and not just to disappear suddenly! I've been disappointed by a couple of pen pals recently who decided that they were too busy to explore our friendship any further - it always makes me sad when this happens... but this means I have time to get to know a couple of new people, if anybody is interested in being my pen pal! I am almost 30 years old and am a foreigner living in Spain. I'm happily married with no kids but a lovely little dog. I've been self-employed for 1.5 years and although I love working for myself, I easily get annoyed with the people I have to deal with. I adore pen palling and have a bunch of really fantastic pen pals that are like real friends to me! I'm sure it's a hobby that will always remain a passion of mine. Apart from that I love listening to music and going to concerts, reading books (I always read something and like true stories, psychothrillers... all sorts really but I'm not keen on sci-fi and action) and travelling. Other interests include cooking, photography, the internet, socialising with friends, languages & linguistics and much, much more. I don't want to go into too many details here - I really don't think people have to share the same interests and tastes to build up a genuine friendship, even though it does help somehow. I have a really good sense of humour (well, I think so anyway) and hate lies and hypocrites. I am looking for open-minded chatty & regular female LONG letter pals. My letters are usually at least 4 A4 pages long but they can be much, much longer than that! If you think that 1-2 A5 pages written with a big handwriting is a long letter, then please skip this ad; short letters bore me and I find it hard to get to know people through them. So please, long lettered pals only! I also don't want to talk to people who will only talk about superficial stuff like today's weather or the latest fashion item they bought. As for regularity, I usually respond to letters within 2 weeks of receiving them; of course, I don't expect the same from you - we all have a life to live and sometimes things get busy but if you will only write 3x a year, I'd prefer not to get to know you. My pen pals mean a lot to me and I find it pointless to write to people who don't take the time to build up a proper friendship. I don't think writing once a month is a hardship, is it? I'm also not that keen on writing to SAHMs, sorry - if you have kids, I obviously want to hear about them a bit but if your letters are going to be mostly about your child, then I don't think I am the right person for you. I tend to ask a lot of questions in my letters and would like to get the same from you. There is nothing worse than receiving letters that are monologues, as they're kind of hard to reply to. I don't mind if you hand-write or type your letters; if they are typed, they obviously have to be personal and not to be sent out to dozens of people. I don't want to write to people who'll disappear on me after a few letters. I know not every friendship works out and I think with the 1st or 2nd letter from a person you can tell whether this is going somewhere or not; if it's not, please be fair and let me know. It's so annoying when you write to somebody and never hear anything back. Also, please be prepared to write the first letter - I promise you will hear back from me! (Oh and if you do contact me, I'd appreciate it if you wrote the intro letter very soon and didn't tell me you were busy and would write after the summer!!!) Right, I think I'll leave it at that. I was working full time as a department manager for an upscale gift shop, but I was recently laid off. I was there almost 3 years, but I can't say it was unexpected. It hurt at the time, of course, but I'm now going to school to learn assistant medical training & after that, if I still haven't found anything, I'll learn medical transcriptionist. It's something on the resume & training & learning new things never hurts! I love to knit & crochet, I do a little spinning & dye yarn. I knit a lot of socks & a lot of sweaters & crochet an obscene amount of afghans. Most things I make get donated to one place or another. I love to read, and I also love to listen to audiobooks & podcasts. I usually am reading multiple books at once. I like long letters that you can sit and enjoy with a coffee but do not have to write back to write away. I am not the penpal who will respond to you in a day or two - my life is way too busy. It won't be 1 week, but it won't be 6 months between letters either. I'm more of a happy medium. I type my letters but they are all personalized - I love to answer and ask questions of penfriends -- my letters are more of a dialogue than a monologue for sure. I hate one sided letters and definitely love the exchange of thoughts, ideas and viewpoints. That's what makes writing fun to me! My letters tend to be 8-12 pages typed :) My interests include: television (House, Judge Judy, HGTV, American Idol, Hell's Kitchen, Survivor, Celebrity Apprentice, real estate and home makeover shows, Nancy Grace and the news. My ultimate joy is reading the paper on Saturday morning with a good cup of coffee. I love Sweeney Todd, Happy Bunny, shopping, fitness, walking, ice cream, coffee, culture, comedy, FRIENDS, animals, chocolate, summer, walking long distances, ebay, and more. I don't have any particular criteria because I believe in the fact that the one who is really looking for friends and someone to write with would have energy to read my ad and respond to it. Due to personal issues, which I can tell you later, I'm only looking for e-mail friends. I've graduated from high school in spring 2004. I tried to get in the law university straight away but, as there are even thousands of triers each year, I didn’t make it there and pass the entrance examination at the first try. At the moment I’m working as a customer service counsellor and in a switchboard and studying languages for a hobby. I enjoy and love learning languages. I’ve studied several languagesby now. Finnish is my native language and English I started when I was nine years old. I'm going to start the studies in the Finnish Business School in fall. It'll bring me a business degree that'll be very useful for my career and future. One might wonder however I would have time for anything else if I work and study but I do rather easily. These things go very much mostly how you arrange your own schedule. I'm a very systematic and well-organized personality, so I've never found it hard to have time for everything what I'm willing to do. I’m as fluent with English as a non-native speaker can be and I use it daily. I’ve studied and used it for so long that it’s almost like my second ”first language” by now if I can put it in that way. I’ve also studied English and linguistics at the university level even if I’ve not been to the university officially. Swedish I know because it’s the second official language in Finland and everyone has to study it in school, so I’ve gotten a seven-year-long education of it. I took the basic course of German and French in high school and I have studied more French after high school. I’ve also studied Spanish. I have studied the basics of Russian, Chinese, and Arabic just to discover and get the impression of what the languages are like. I live in Helsinki, the capital of Finland, and I’m 24 years old. I have one brother and two sisters, I’m the eldest. I have a two-year-old cat who I dote on. He’s my little sweetheart and he was really wanted when he moved in here. I had wanted a cat for many years and finally I had a chance to have one. Garfield is a wild and curious cat who fears nothing. He’s been to many places with me. It’s nice to take him around because he doesn’t shun any people or places, old or new. I live at home at the moment with my brother and mother but I’m going to buy my own apartment within a year. I have several hobbies and even more interests. If I listed the briefly, a few of them are music, reading, writing, computers, Internet, some sports like jogging and swimming, languages, history, cultures, psychology, learning new things in general... I could write a list of ten pages of them if I just dared to start. As it already came up, I’m basically always up to a lot. I’m an active person and always ready to try new things and very curious about just everything. I sing, play piano and a bit guitar but basically I do it just for fun and for myself. Music is a very big part in my life and I consider myself musical. I enjoy listening to all sorts of music but what I’m mostly listening to are older rock, some pop, classical, techno and trance. I also have a website. I am not someone who would be a member in several social networks like this site is below but I’m a member of Multiply. One network is fine to me and it takes enough of my time. I’ve tried MySpace, Facebook, Hi5, and whatever there are available, but they haven’t been too impressive. I rather focus on one site properly than have tens of pages and no time for any of them. Multiply offers and gives me what I want to do in a social network and it’s just fine. There are a lot of pictures, blog entries, and other stuff, just if you want to have a peek. It’s part of this introduction, let’s say. I'm a regular writer. Sometimes it takes just a couple of days to write a letter but then there are times when it takes a little longer; two or even three weeks. I never let the letters delay longer. I've had pen friends who've written a couple of times a year and I'm not into such penpalling. One doesn't have to sit at the computer for 24/7 but it's hard to keep up the communication and get to know someone if the communication is as rare as just a few letters a year. So, if there's any impression of me that I'd be a pen friend to your taste, my mailbox is waiting for your letter and I'm most willing to hear from you. So about me - I`m 36 (find this difficult to believe tho), happily married, no kids, one dog, English teacher. I am from England but I live in Switzerland, I`ve been here nearly 4 years now. I live in belgium and am getting 30 this year. many people hate getting 30, I am looking forward to it :)! maybe that is because I already had an early midlife crisis 2 years ago... you know when you think about your life, your job and wonder if this is what you want for the next 30 years of your life and what about all the lost dreams you once had,... I used to be a teacher in kindergarden (love to work with kids because of their honest and true way of being, they just say what they think!). but somehow I didn't feel happy in my job at the end. (maybe I just need another job every 5 years). so I quit my job, rented my appartment to someone and run away with the circus :)! my childdream was to work and live in a circus and now I do! we only travel in belgium and our country is very small (so I can go home a few times a week to get my letters). we always work with schools, learning kids circustrics and let them make a show for their family. we also do some acts: I take care of music and lights during the show and also do an act with fire-poi's (= in each hand an iron line with a fireball and I swing them around, but my act is still basic). besides circus I have many hobbies, always want to try new things (and end up with having no time for any of my hobbies... except for writing letters, no matter how busy my week is, I always make time to write). I never did travel a lot until last year (no travelbuddy who likes to travel the way I like it or they have a partner and doesn't want to take a single to come along on their trip). my sister is alone on a one year trip in asia, in december I traveled one month with her in cambodia. I think it is great she went alone, still don't know if I could do it like her, but now I am sure I will plan some little trips every year no matter if I find someone to come along or not and I want to make a far away trip every few years :) so just another little dream to follow. since a few years I really started changing the way I think and try to live my life like I dream it. some think I am naïve, but it is the other way around: I am very realistic and going to the circus made me see that is true! everybody thought I was crazy, I had to make some big and risking changes in my life and it seemed like I went over it very quick and easily but that is only how it looked I never felt I had made a mistake or not well thought about something. I just think if I want to change something in my life, it is not enough to want it, I have to do it also. (not that it always go that easy for me, I also have things I regret not doing). basicly I am a happy person who likes to laugh a lot, I am very open and honest and I am looking for people who are open, honest and like to write with me. someone who stays around and doesn't stop writing (except if we don't "click" but then I expect you to be honest and let me know if you stop writing. you can expect te same from me, I always write back). that is the only thing that is important to me in a penpal. for me it doesn't matter how old you are, where you come from, if you have children or not, and you don't need to have a simular job :p,... (maybe I just need another job every 5 years). so I quit my job, rented my appartment to someone and run away with the circus :)! my childdream was to work and live in a circus and now I do! we only travel in belgium and our country is very small (so I can go home a few times a week to get my letters). we always work with schools, learning kids circustrics and let them make a show for their family. we also do some acts: I take care of music and lights during the show and also do an act with fire-poi's (= in each hand an iron line with a fireball and I swing them around, but my act is still basic). besides circus I have many hobbies, always want to try new things (and end up with having no time for any of my hobbies... except for writing letters, no matter how busy my week is, I always make time to write). I never did travel a lot until last year (no travelbuddy who likes to travel the way I like it or they have a partner and doesn't want to take a single to come along on their trip). my sister is alone on a one year trip in asia, in december I traveled one month with her in cambodia. I think it is great she went alone, still don't know if I could do it like her, but now I am sure I will plan some little trips every year no matter if I find someone to come along or not and I want to make a far away trip every few years :) so just another little dream to follow. since a few years I really started changing the way I think and try to live my life like I dream it. some think I am naïve, but it is the other way around: I am very realistic and going to the circus made me see that is true! everybody thought I was crazy, I had to make some big and risking changes in my life and it seemed like I went over it very quick and easily but that is only how it looked I never felt I had made a mistake or not well thought about something. I just think if I want to change something in my life, it is not enough to want it, I have to do it also. (not that it always go that easy for me, I also have things I regret not doing). basicly I am a happy person who likes to laugh a lot, I am very open and honest and I am looking for people who are open, honest and like to write with me. someone who stays around and doesn't stop writing (except if we don't "click" but then I expect you to be honest and let me know if you stop writing. you can expect te same from me, I always write back). that is the only thing that is important to me in a penpal. for me it doesn't matter how old you are, where you come from, if you have children or not, and you don't need to have a simular job :p,... I am an extremely dedicated and avid penpaller. I like to write, to share my life and to discuss and cover a lot of topics in my long letters. It always is great to find a long letter waiting for you after a hard day of work and it is even greater to find an amazing pal with whom you truly click. And that is what I am looking for one or two pals whom I can share part of my life with, whom I can tell about movies I have seen, books I have read, my work, leisure activities, world politics, feminism and so much more. Your letters can be handwriten or typed, I do not care about that but they have to be long and heartfelt. I won't reply to copied letters, to one page letters or to people whom do not ask questions or answer to mine. I have been penpalling for over 10 years so my standards are quite high, but if you think that you can match them do not hestitate to get in touch with me. I also like my pals to be regular writers. I do not have the feeling that I can get to know someone whom only writes once or twice a year. Please be aware that I will ask you to write the first letter. About my hobbies. I am an avid reader and love to swap reading, music and movies tips with other pals. I do not watch tv a lot and if I do I like to watch series, soaps, documentaries and movies. I am very concious of the fact that there actually is an entertainment industry outside of the American one and I adore to dive into it and explore new things. I like to be stimulated and love to learn. Life already consists of enough boring, repetitive patches. I am pretty open minded what music concerns and listen to a lot of different things. My favourites are Paul Kalkbrenner, Moby, Bjork, Moloko, Roisin Murphy, Bach,... I adore to sing along with the radio when I am driving. People might think that I am totally mad but I do not care. I also love summer and spring. At the moment I am trying to decide which nailpolish I should get so I can get in the summer vibe. I already made a first choice but should reconsider things,... Yes I am a bit passionate about clothes, cosmetics, skincare,... Don't get me wrong I am by no means a slave to fashion, I just like to finger fabrics, study cuts and wear nice clothes. I do think that the winter sales actually are more fun then the holidays. *Ducks*. Other things I enjoy are: knitting, scented candles, baking, spending time with friends, doing all sorts of crafty things, walking, architecture, photography, beautiful landscapes, .... I am 30, I live in Germany, and I am looking for female long-letter pals. Currently I study at university for a degree in English (specializing in linguistics) with minors philosophy and musicology. I enjoy it a lot, though it can get quite stressful at times. If things go as planned, I will write my final year thesis and take my final exams next year. It’s kind of scary to think about that. All the past years, it was like, oh, finals, that’s SO far away… but it comes closer and closer! I’ve already got a degree in business studies. I went back to university for a second degree because I was ill for a long time after completing my first degree. Long and complicated story… I’ll save that for my letters, let me just say that because of those health issues my life is not what other people would call “normal”; and it will never be. I’m kind of a loner really, and in real life I have always found it so difficult to get in touch with people and to build up friendships. This is why I am into penpalling I guess. Plus it is great to get to know people from all over the world! When I am not busy with my studies, I write letters, spend too much time online in Internet forums etc. or watching silly or fun stuff on TV (favourite at the moment: “Friends”), read books (esp. crime fiction), go to gym classes or ballet practice (recently I started to use my pointe shoes again, though I feel like a total beginner whenever I wear them!), practise singing and go to singing lessons, go shopping, listen to music (my CD collection must look like it is the collection of several people thrown together, as I like so many different styles and artists), or work on my foreign languages. For two years I took Italian classes, currently I am doing Swedish, and I am planning on taking up Spanish again some time in the future. I like to write and receive really long letters; it can be up to 20 handwritten pages (for some reason, my handwriting tends to get bigger when I write on A4 paper than when I write on A5 paper). Sometimes I type my letters, but I will never write form letters. I like to use nice letter paper to write or print my letters on; and when I use normal paper I like to decorate it with stickers or to use pens in different colours. I also like to receive nice-looking letters, but it is not a must. What a letter contains is more important than the paper it is written on. If you’re not the kind of person to write 20 pages each letter, that’s fine too (well, not all my letters are that long – but I hardly ever stay below 8-10 pages). I just don’t like to receive a one A5 sheet about he weather and what you did last weekend and how your pets are. I want to get to know my pals, to know what they did last weekend and how their pets are – but I also want to know what they think and feel, what upset them at work yesterday or why they are looking forward so much to the event next weekend. I don’t always manage to write back fast. I often would like to, but when I am busy with university work and have some other letters to write, it can take a while. I want my letters to be nice, so I prefer taking my time to write a real nice long letter instead of just scribbling down something quick. Sometimes I answer within two weeks, sometimes it takes three or four months. Consequently, I don’t mind if my pals also take some time to reply to my letters. I prefer to receive a nice long letter after half a year over getting a few sentences every week. I am single, and I do not have children. However, mums are also welcome to write. I don’t mind reading about children now and then; in fact I myself might sometimes write about my little cousins. I also tend to write a lot about university, but I do try to cover a variety of topics in each letter. Now, this ad has become really long…it’s the same with my letters: once I get started, I cannot stop LOL. If you are still reading, chances are that we would get on well as penpals… so if this sounds interesting to you, I am looking forward to hearing from you!
