Niki's my sister - and i can not begin to tell you what a blessing you have all been not only to Niki, but those of us she shares with as well. You all epitimize the phrase: " you are not alone"! You restore my faith in "people"! I feel privaledged to have shared in your lives what little i have, and blessed to have been a part of Cassie's. You never cease to amaze us. This web page is truly beautiful. It brings to life what you have been telling us about how much these friends mean to you. It is so wonderful that you all have each other because you have to walk a mile in someone's shoes to know what they are experiencing. It was great that you were finally able to meet face to face and give each other a a real life hug. Friends always try to do their best to understand, but your angels have brought you all together for a reason. I am sure they are all watching over you and this is a way to tell you that they are ok. | Comments: | Niki is my sister; Cassie my niece. I know only partially how Cassie's death affected Niki, as she's a pretty "cool customer" when we're all together. She assures us she has bad momemts. Knowing how severe the blow was to me, I can only imagine how the loss would be for a mother.
My heart goes out to all of you. I thank you for the help and support you've given to Niki, as you can comfort her in ways I cannot. I think it was great that you were finally all able to meet in person. I hope you can have regular reunions, as that personal touch and getting away helps to rejuvinate the soul. PS: I've enjoyed the pictures and seeing Niki so happy. Thanks for sharing. |
