These are the ones that I have deemed worth saving. I was born and raised in a German Catholic home but found out later that we had a jewish heritage. It turns out that my paternal grandparents changed their name and came to America in 1910 to escape the growing antisemitism. Well, anyway, I love poetry--words, the way they sound.

That is something that all "women" want and need to hear, those of us that the poem actually speaks to. I am a native of Indiana, Indiana Hoosiers, however, I've endeavored a closer venture to the homelands of Zora Neale Hurston and Eatonville, Florida. For of you who know her as a famous African American author, anthropologist, and novelist, the Zora Neale Hurston museum is home to Eatonville, Florida. I've been in Florida now for about nine years continuing my writing including my poetry and some anthological pieces. The journey has been fulfilling and enlightening. I lost all control over my life within days of losing my loved one. i cried for months. Putting my feelings down on paper helped me to get through my ordeal.
