I am a photographer and I work at home which gives me the opportunity to watch Martha Stewart sometimes while I am working. I loved your demo of the pet portraits that you did I am so glad that I had the opportunity to catch it. What you do is amazing and so cute!
I am curious as to what the adhesive you were using. You said what it was but I was really caught up in your that I didn't get a chance to write it down and now I can't recall the name. Can you please email me back with the name when you have an opportunity.
It's great to see other doing what they love for a living! I recently returned to freelance after working for the company that makes Schwinn bicycles as their photographer. I was working over 100 hours a week and started not enjoying photography. It was a difficult decision but enjoying my career is very important and I had to retake control over my life and my craft. Your demo was very inspiring. It has been a difficult transition for me but you are a great example of being able to make a living doing what you love.

I need your help. I am working on the pet portrait. I have ironed the wonder under on the reverse side of the fabric, then I ironed on the pattern of the freezer paper - shiny side down. Howevewr, when I cut out everything, it is reverse (opposite)of my original line drawing. What did I do wrong? Please help. Thanks. |

I loved the dog portrait. I have lost two big dogs in the last year, and I have a few photos of them. I'm going to try this.
It is hard to get a good photo of a black dog, Lots of light is needed. My hubby is a 35mm great photographer. My dogs were litter mates; Always vying for top dog status.
I now have a little Chihauhaua; a long hair. I may use a sewing machine to get the fine hair from his ears to look realistic. I am 64 yrs old so he is more my style. Those big dogs used to walk Me!! |
