Aphrodite Wounded: The Golden Aphrodite Medal of Honour Roll

Whom do you admire and think deserves a medal? This is a page where you can give them one!
Perhaps you would like to honour a survivor of intimate partner sexual violence and/or domestic violence who has had a valiant struggle towards healing and freedom? Perhaps you know a man or woman who is a great advocate for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence that you think deserves one or even a whole organization? Just a survivor or activist you love dearly and want to encourage? Maybe it's somebody who has supported you, your sister, your partner, your child who struggled with you - or the medal recipient can even BE you!
Personally, I think it's high time that all the warriors and wounded soldiers "fighting the good fight" had an honour roll.

Tell us why you are honouring this Person:	This lovely and brave young survivor of partner rape, still experiencing her own trauma, has made a 10-minute documentary, titled "Silence" detailing her journey in the hopes that she will help other survivors. I believe she will! You are a star, Laura.

Tell us why you are honouring this Person:	Author, academic and advocate Dr. Taylor is a survivor of prolonged child sexual and other abuse who is one of the finest examples I know of, of coming out of that mire and fighting back on behalf of other survivors. Courage and strength such as hers leaves me awed.
